What a wonderful time we had in this beautiful and authentic cabin! The views from the living room, master bedroom and deck rival anything you will see in the Smoky Mountains National Park. This is not an exaggeration. From a practical standpoint, the cabin was well equipped and the owner was very nice in corresponding with us via email and even by phone on our arrival. There was plenty of yard for our 3 yr old to play in, and we could watch the fireflies at night. Architecturally, the cabin is beautiful! The master bedroom is huge and a portion of the cabin dates back to the 1890's. This place is just plain cool! In addition, we stayed here the last wk of June- temps at the cabin were never above 75 degrees, while it was mid 80s in town. Awesome find!
Owner response:Thank you for your very positive review of Rocky Gap Cabin. I am very pleased that you and your family enjoyed your vacation in the mountains. It means a great deal to me that you appreciated all the effort which has gone into making Rocky Gap a special getaway. You are the first person who has responded with a review via VRBO and I am proud that it is so positive. I hope that you and your family can return in the future. Again, thank you.
