Near the Avalon, Pantages Theatre, Henry Fonda Music Box, Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood and Highland shopping area (home of the Academy Awards and Grauman's Chinese). Trendy restaurants, clothing stores and more just two blocks away!! Also less than a block away is the coffee shop featured in the movie Swingers. Come make this your daily breakfast/industry meeting spot of choice. If you are the outdoor type, you can hike to the Hollywood sign also just minutes away.

This comfortable, three bedroom home is on a quiet street. Parking is provided in the driveway. If you would like to use alternative transportation, there are subway and bus lines within walking distance. The home is bright and airy. An ideal place to call home when you are visiting Southern California.

  • Fabulous! We had an excellent stay in the Gillett home in the Hollywood Hills. Couldn't have been better! This lovely upstairs apartment was so comfortable to call home during our stay. The three bedrooms accomodated our seven family members nicely. Dave was also a knowledgeable resource for our adventures. Thanks again! Love to come back!

  • Having stayed at Gillett House several times now - (I hope to stay there whenever I'm in LA; this is the best place I have found; I have rented several) - I warmly recommend this flat. Jackie and Dave are great hosts, and the apartment is well located and quite comfortable. Don't miss the Farmers' Market (within walking distance) Sunday morning!

  • Our family stayed in Jackie and Dave's apartment in early January. It was spacious, very comfortable and it was perfect for a family with 2 teenagers. Everyone had had their own space, rather than being cramped in a hotel room. It really felt like coming home after a day of sightseeing. The location is great for walking to Hollywood sights and the train station is a short walk (only a couple of stops to Universal studios). Jackie and Dave are fantastic hosts and were most kind and helpful. We will definitely be making a return visit on our next trip to LA.

  • My husband and good friends had a wonderful time staying at Gillett House. The location couldn't be better, and the apartment was immaculate. Jackie and Dave added so many personal touches that made the stay special - lots of guides, maps, coupons, and historical information were provided. And I highly recommend the 101 Cafe around the corner - yum. The price of the accommodation was quite fair, and Dave and Jackie were very accommodating. I would be pleased to stay at Gillett House if I am in the Los Angeles area again.

  • Location, Location, Location!! Wonderful spacious, airconditioned apartment central to everything in Hollywood .. walk to the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd, Kodak Theatre, Hollywood & Highland Shops .. Apartment is very clean, contains everything you will need for your vacation ...great for families... just like being in your own home. Hosts, Dave & Jackie are very friendly, knowledgeable and only too happy to assist with anything you could need for your vacation. Great hosts, great apartment, great location. We will be back on our next visit !

  • Wonderful house! Our family of 5 had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The house is in a nice neighborhood, and is walking distance to a LOT of things to see and do. The owners are really friendly and helpful. There wasn't a thing that was missing. We'll definitly stay here again if we ever visit the LA area.
