Our spacious vacation condominium is located in the prestigious 160 acre Stonybrook Resort, which offers something for every season.
While staying here, take advantage of Stonybrook's excellent amenities such as: Hot tub and sauna in the Stonybrook clubhouse; six tennis courts; two outdoor heated pools for summer use; 14 kilometers of X country ski trails throughout the naturally beautiful grounds; golf pitching area; and several ponds for fishing or ice skating.
You will vacation comfortably in our remodeled, smoke-free vacation home, where you will find new appliances, flooring,draperies, cabinets and countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms. We have a brand new large screen wall mounted HDTV with VCR/DVD player which you can watch from the new comfortable sofa and loveseat in the living room.
Since we have young kids, we have left behind a large collection of over 25 first rate DVD/VCR family movies (many Disney) and other PG movies.
To make vacation packing easier for families, we have a pack and play crib in the upstairs closet, a baby seat for dining (attaches to the dining room table)and plenty of board games for the family.
Besides enjoying the incredible view of the Stonybrook Meadow and Mount Mansfield, you will also enjoy our unique stone fireplace (see pictures).

Why the Owner Chose Stowe
After 15 years of traveling all throughout New England for business, I thought Stowe was the most unique town in the region. It is the quintessential Norman Rockwell type New England town with more chartacter and charm than any other town in New England. We really liked the fact that all the shops, restaurants and hotels were unique to Stowe with no franchises in the entire town. When we looked at various properties in Stowe, Stonybrook Resort really stood out from the crowd based on the amenities the Resort has to offer (pool, tennis courts, hot tub, X Country trails etc.) and it best of all it was perfectly located between the ski mountain and Stowe Village. We wanted to be close to the ski mountain, but not be far from the restaurants and village. Stonybrook is the perfect location for us because it is right in the middle of everything. What sold us on our particular unit was the view. There is no better view in Stonybrook than the "front meadow view" we enjoy. We still are in awe of the view 8 years later!
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
We enjoy the proximity we have from our Stonybrook unit to all that Stowe has to offer. Stonybrook is located adjacent to the well known Stowe Rec Path & right near the intersection of Mountain Rd and Luce Hill Rd. Our kids can ride their bikes from our unit right to a private Rec Path entrance located in Stonybrook. Most of the town's 50+ restaurants are within 1-3 miles of our doorstep. We can get to the town or the ski mountain in just a few minutes. We are located just off Mountain Rd right near the Shed Brewery, Stowe Country Club, Farmers Market, Picasso, Stowe Dogs and Stoweflake.
Another unique benefit we enjoy is our view. It truly is second to none!
Great place for Dinners or special meals! Also, don't miss the outdoor concerts each Sunday night in the Summer. Think Sound of Music!!
A great place for all kinds of varieties of Hot Dogs. Quick and inexpensive. Great place for lunch with the kids! Bring a picture of your dog to put on the wall!

This was our first visit to Stowe and we couldn't have selected a more ideal property. The condo was "move in ready" when we arrived, very clean and comfortable for our party of five (with room to spare). All the amenities we needed were available to us. The mountain view from the deck is exceptional, grounds well maintained. Location is perfect, close to the moutain, local trails, great dining and shopping! Definately a return visit is in order.

We stayed for a week in July. Have to echo others and say that the view of the neighboring farm (who doesn't love a red barn?) and Mt. Mansfield is stunning. Access to rec path is perfect for runners. Also great for walking to local restaurants, though bring a flashlight if you plan to come back after dark. (Further down Mountain Rd find excellent sandwiches at Thompson's Flour Shop.) A very pleasant surprise was the swimming hole just across Luce Hill Rd from the property - my kids loved it (bring inflatable inner tubes). A great location for exploring the local area - Moss Glen Falls, hiking, Ben & Jerrys, etc. and beyond - a trip to Burlington/Lake Champlain is easy. The condo itself was pleasant and comfortable for our family group which included my children and my parents.

We've stayed in this unit several times already.. clean, updated and easy access to the rec path keep us coming back. Nice pool and tennis courts too. Perfect view of Mt. Mansfield off the back deck.

We come here every year for a week in July or August - this was our 5th visit! Love the view, the proximity to the Rec Path and the central location between village and mountain activities. We've stayed at a couple of other condos in Stowe but we like Stonybrook best. The pool area is nice for the hot days, a little chilly for the grownups on other days (but the kids don't seem to mind!) This townhouse is comfortable and has everything we need, such as a BBQ, washer/dryer, internet access, board games and videos. The layout works well, with 1 bedroom/bath downstairs and the other two bedrooms upstairs sharing a bath. The upstairs bedroom has a deck with the same mountain view - a great way to start the day. It can get a little warm in the "bunk room" but we use the fans provided and it's fine. We always have a great time at Brian's place in Stowe!

We had a wonderful experience here in June, Brian could not have been more helpful in making sure our needs were met. We loved the area surrounding Stonybrook Resort. We were on the rec path everyday. It was a great vacation!

Decided to head to Stowe this year for our annual ski trip with our friends and decided to rent this townhouse. The townhouse is located in an ideal location, close to the town and only a few miles from the mountain. Very quiet, peaceful area and the unit has a great view of the mountain from the back deck . New remodel on the kitchen and there is also a very nice fireplace in the living room. There is a new 6 person hot tub in a very nice recreation / fitness area just a short walk from the townhouse which also has showers, ping pong table, TV and exercise machines. Great place for the kids to hang out after skiing. We plan on renting again on our next trip to Stowe. Really enjoyed our stay!

This is our second time staying at Stonybrook and our second experience was as good as the first. We love the view of Mt. Mansfield and the proximity to the bike path which is great for running and biking. Looking forward to our return at some point in the future.

07/31/2007 - We had a great week in Stowe and your townhouse is just beautiful! What a spectacular view you have from your decks and the grounds at Stonybrook are so pretty with the flowers, etc. They really do a nice job there. Bob and our girls enjoyed the pool everyday and it was just so peaceful there - much different than staying at The Stoweflake or The Golden Eagle Resort where we usually stay. We would definitely stay there again and would recomment your condo to anyone.
