Our chalet is very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. About 1 mile off of Route 16, up a quiet mountain road. Perfect whether you are one couple, one family or two families sharing. It sleeps up to 11 comfortably. Ideal location! In winter, five downhill and three cross-country ski areas are within 5 to 30 minutes away, including Attitash, Cranmore and Black Mt. The quaint village of Jackson is next door and offers a nice x-country ski area. Snowmobile trailheads are only two miles down the road. These trails traverse through New Hampshire and Maine. Local snowmobile rentals available. North Conway village is 10 minutes away, with hundreds of outlet and specialty stores, dozens of restaurants, lots of kid-friendly activities.
Ground level has two queen-size bedrooms and a third bedroom with two twin beds. There is also a full bathroom and laundry room on ground level.
The second level has a queen-size bedroom/bathroom suite. The second level also includes a fully-equipped kitchen with island seating, a dining area with table for 6, and an open living room with a wood-burning stove on a beautiful flagstone hearth.
Third level is an open loft, accessible by ladder, perfect for kids to play and sleep in. A cathedral ceiling and winter view of Mount Washington from the living room add to the charm of this great vacation getaway.

My friends and family stayed in this home on our vacation to the White Mountains and we really enjoyed our stay.Especially the kids enjoyed the attic area as it gave them there own space to play and have fun. . It was clean and had everything that we needed. The house is exactly as it been shown in the photos. Mary was very helpful in answering the queries as well as provide good insights about the area. Mt Washington Auto Drive, Rt 302, North Conway Rail Station are just in couple of miles away. It was a very comfortable place for 8 adults / 5kids. We had a gr8 fun.

We rented this chalet last minute for a trip for two small families to Storyland. Mary was wonderful to work with - very responsive and nice. The ability to take credit cards made the last minute rental very easy. The home was as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. The kids loved the adventure of having the loft to play in and we enjoyed having a place for them to be out from underfoot. There weren't too many toys in the house for the preschool boy set, but the kids enjoyed the things that were there. There were lots of games that would please slightly older kids. The home was plenty big for the 4 adults and 4 children in our party. The location was quiet. It was very close to Storyland which made it super convenient. There was plenty of retail close by for groceries and last minute purchases. We had a great weekend and would consider renting this chalet again for another getaway.

My family stayed in this home on our vacation to the White Mountains and we really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and had everything that we needed. The pictures, lay-out and location were very accurate. Also, the lay-out worked well with our two younger children. It was roomy and felt like a home away from home. The owner was wonderful to deal with and we had no problems whatsoever.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

A clean, well-maintained property. The location is excellent! Close to Storyland and Jackson Village. We loved eating outside on the deck surrounded by trees. The air conditioning kept the place quite comfortable for the hot and humid days. I appreciated the toys and games for the grandkids.

We rented the chalet for 3 months to take advantage of the skiing with our 2 children. The chalet was neat and well maintained. The owners were accomodating and wonderful to work with. We enjoyed the location as it was close to numerous ski areas. We loved the woodstove which warmed us up in minutes... and the kids loved the loft for their own space to play.

My family had a wonderful experience staying at this house. There was plenty of room for two large families to sleep and play comfortably. Everything was neat and clean, and the house well-stocked with necessities. The location was very convenient to local ski areas eateries, and things to do with children. I would recommend this location to anyone.

My family of 11 people came from California and we all had a great time. The house fit us all nicely without any problems. We hiked, went down the Saco River in a tube, and enjoyed the country club facilities. The air condition was an added comfort and the grill was used almost every night. We had a one year old with us and the baby gates and high chair were great to use throughout our stay. We all highly recommend this vacation house.
