We so enjoyed our Venice vacation and the house was very well furnished. We had a number of relatives visit us while here and they all thought the house to be the perfect vacation spot. LOVED sharky's and the beach was absolutely beautiful & not crowded at all. Had fun shopping on Venice Ave and getting ice cream for the kids. It is nice that there are hardly any chain stores in Venice and no high rise buildings. Really felt like an old-fashion beach vacation. Only suggestion is to replace the beach umbrella pretty soon - everything else in good condition. thank you again, Jill & Michael

Hi Amy! Just wanted to thank you again for thinking of everything to make our anniversary trip perfect:). We've been to Venice before & loved the area. I loved the way you decorated your house and location was so close to everywhere we wanted to go - we'll be back! We broke the shark's tooth catcher - very sorry but we replaced it with one from walmart. lastly, thanks for your detailed guest welcome book & the beach bag - the thoughtful touches helped make our vacation memorable. sincerely, mollie dexter and family:).

Hi McDermott Family, Just wanted to thank you for sharing your vacation house with our family - we enjoyed it very much and hope to return in the future if we can coordinate with everyone's schedules! Please tell your handyman there are 1 or 2 lightbulbs out - we would have replaced but couldn't find the extras. Everything else though was fantastic. The location was so convenient for us! Your beach is so nice & the little cousins loved splashing in the tidal pools - we all enjoyed the music at Sharky's and the amazing sunsets:). This was just the escape we needed from our hectic jobs. You've thought of every little detail to make it all fun & relaxing for us. best, Samantha, Jack, Allie, Savannah & Jordie (and Grams & Gramps!)

Hi McDermott's, Just want to thank you for offering us a much needed place to escape our hectic work schedule. Venice is such a cute town. Thanks for getting someone quickly out to fix the outside light! greatly appreciated. everything was great and we plan to come back again next year...with a new little family member who has yet to experience wonderful venice beaches!! Hello McDermott Family, Thanks so much for sharing your charming vacation home with us - we enjoyed it so much. Felt like home - only better - with the new granite kitchen! The neighborhood was so quiet - we slept great, yet were able to walk to so many things to do. I liked the little breakfast diner around the corner and the kids LOVED sharky's. Dear Amy & Frank McDermott, We had such a great trip. House was perfect - plenty of space for two families. Location was soooo convenient to everything. Walked to beach every morning, walked to beautiful new community center for art classes, walked to the library, and loved walking to the palm-tree lined downtown area to get coffee and window shop:). Our favorite thing to do was walk to Sharky's almost every night for live music and sunset watching - the Fishing Pier was a big hit with us too. We'll be back soon. Hi Amy & Frank, Just got back from our best vacation yet - thank you so much! Renovations are simply beautiful! Really liked the oversized ceramic tile floors and kitchen was a dream:). I enjoy oil painting and the light pouring in the French Doors of the new Florida Room made for perfect painting sessions. My husband and I enjoyed bike riding around the Island - this area is beyond charming. See you next winter. Gloria.
