Welcome to the "Bethany Beach Bungalow"!
We are now taking reservations for Summer 2012. We were booked solid last year. Take a look at the pictures and read reviews from last year's renters and see why.

Our Bethany Beach Bungalow is a renovated, "gold rated" Vista condominium nestled on Heron Lake amid large pines trees, with a large, screened, wraparound porch facing west for you to watch the sunset.
The Bungalow comfortably sleeps nine and was renovated with all new furnishings, coordinated artwork, and a fully-stocked kitchen. The location on Sanddollar Court is a short walk to the aquatic center, fitness center, tennis center, playground, walking paths, and the free shuttle to one-half mile of guarded, private beach.
Enjoy the beach, splash in one of the ten pools, play tennis on one of the 32 tennis courts, play one of our many board games, challenge a friend to a Texas Hold 'Em competition, watch one of the movies from the DVD collection, read a book from the library, check your email on our courtesy computer with free high-speed internet with WIFI access, or just chill out with a cocktail on the porch and watch the sunset.
We have a pack and play, high chair and toddler toys.
Don't lug your beach stuff from home - use our beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys, boogie boards and bike!!
All guests at Sea Colony are required to pay a Recreational Association fee of $35 per person (per week) in the summer months. Rec Fee is only $15/person from 5/20-6/9 and 9/2-9/15; and $10 1/1-5/19 and 9/16-12/31.
All renters must bring their own linens and towels. Rentals available, contact for info.

Summer II: Jun 16 - Sept 1.... $1,950/week (weekly rentals only)

Why the Owner Chose Sea Colony
Owning a place at the beach has been a lifelong dream. I have been coming to the Delaware and Maryland beaches my whole life. We found that Sea Colony is the perfect place for families, with the walking/biking trails, easy access to pools, amenities at the beach and the well-maintain grounds. Our condo, which we named Bethany Beach Bungalow, for the wonderful cottage-like feel, is the perfect vacation getaway. We come down in the offseason and relax and offer it to you for your perfect family vacation.

Charming Beach Bungalow that makes you feel at home

This is our second year staying at the Beach Bungalow. We love it. We have one child and one infant and the home has everything we need: highchair, baby bath, beach toys and home toys, and videos. It makes traveling so much more convenient when you dont have to lug all of that stuff from home. Plus, there is so much to do in the Sea Colony community. The beaches and pools are clean and welcoming to children, the boardwalk is just enough -- and if you want a bigger boardwalk you just have to drive 10 minutes to Ocean City, MD, where you can find rides, mini golf and boardwalk games. It is a relaxing week, in a place where you feel at home, but still on vacation. Thank you for the memories. We hope to be back again soon!

We found the information on the site accurate. We enjoyed NOT driving to the beach and were able take umbrellas,chairs and bags on the tram without any problems. There was something for everyone to enjoy,biking,fishing,early morning walks on paths,tennis. The owners sent helpful tips with their information. The condo was clean and as pictured on line.

We love this condo! This is the second year we have returned to the Beach Bungalow. It is beautifully furnished, and everything has been thought of for a visit to the beach right down to a beach umbrella, chairs and beach toys. We especially enjoyed the outside screened porch overlooking Heron Lake, and ate, read and dreamed out there. We couldn’t imagine going to the beach, with our children (ages 7 & 5 yrs), without the fantastic facilities Sea Colony resort has to offer – bike trails, pools, playgrounds, private beach, fishing, kids club and the trolley bus. The owners are very helpful and the rental is handled in a professional and efficient manner. Thank you for allowing us to share your beach home – it holds many fond memories for our family.

Adjacent to a woodsy area with a view of a lake complete with entertaining wildlife and just minutes from the beach, this charming bungalow provides a unique beach experience. Our family of 4 adults and 2 young childen caught a fish, took hikes, attended an early evening bonfire on the beach, complete with a DJ and marshmellows, rode the Sea Colony trolley and of course enjoyed the beach. The bungalow is tastefully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and we all loved spending time on the screen porch. We celebrated a birthday and everyone from our 2 year old and up had a great time.

The Bethany Beach Bungalow was the perfect escape for our family's week-at-the-beach. We fit 3 adults, and 5 kids comfortably. The location is perfect - nestled next to a pond, walking distance to pools and the fitness center, and a fire lane where our 7 year olds were able to ride their bikes safely. The inside is clean, nicely decorated with comfortable beds, and has large capacity washers and dryers. Our kids especially enjoyed the boogie boards, buckets, and beach toys which were available for our use. The adults especially enjoyed the rolling beach cart that carried everything to and from the beach - we saved a lot of money not having to rent chairs on the beach! I highly recommend this Bungalow for families with children.
