We are conveniently located; only a seven minute drive to the beach and Carlsbad village (1.5 miles), ten minutes to Legoland, 20 minutes south to Del Mar Racetrack, 40 minutes south to San Diego, and one hour north to Disneyland.
Because our home is owner occupied when not rented, you will immediately feel right at home. We have 2500-plus-square-feet of living space with an upstairs master suite with full bath, fireplace and deck. Street level has living/dining room, three bedrooms, family room with fireplace and piano, full bath, office with computer(internet ready),sun room,and large kitchen with all the amenities. Enjoy soaking in the sun, warming up at night by the gas fire pit, or barbecuing on our large west-facing deck. You can also play a game of croquet or volleyball on our front lawn area.
If you have not experienced Carlsbad, you are in for a great vacation.

This house was perfect for our party of 8. It has a beautiful and spacious outdoor space, and very kid-friendly. The kitchen is big and very well-equipped. There was plenty of room for the kids to play and run around. Janice and Rich were very easy and nice to work with. Thank you!

Our family of 7, including our 8 month old grand daughter had a wonderful time. Carlsbad is a great place to vacation but was made that much more pleasant because of the welcoming accommodations. We felt like we were at home with all of the conveniences including a fully equipped kitchen, large living space, comfortable and roomy bedrooms. We appreciated not having to worry about a crib, high chair, stroller, etc. The back yard including a deck with a picnic table, fire pit area, and gazebo with a day bed was perfect for our family. Communicating with the owners was a breeze and they were very accommodating. Their description of their home was more than accurate and we were most pleased.

We stayed at this wonderful home for a week in 2010 and again this year. The house is perfect; very cozy and comfortable with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The backyard is beautiful with ocean views and sunset views over the ocean from the upstairs balcony. There are plenty of cozy spots in the backyard to dine inside and outside no matter how big a group you have. We lived in Carlsbad years ago and love to come to visit in the summer...this house is perfect for us and our family. Our small grandchildren and their cousins love to play with the toys in the sun room; there are loads of toys, books and sand toys for them to use. The house is exceptionally clean with all appliances you would need and plenty of storage space. The kitchen is very large and all beds are comfortable. The second floor master bedroom is wonderful with views of the ocean off the balcony and a bathroom and sitting area with fireplace. There is a good supply of towels and bedding. There is a stack of beach towels and sand chairs in the garage along with a washer/dryer to use. All of the conveniences of home including a tv in almost every room! The house is convenient to Carlsbad Village, Sea World, San Diego, beaches, Costco, restaurants, San Diego Wild Animal Park and Lego Land. The ocean breezes in the back yard are wonderful! We plan to come back every year. The owners are wonderful to work with and we have enjoyed our stays very much. Our friends and relatives who have visited us at this lovely home have been very impressed at how spacious and comfortable it is; they all want to come back again next year!

Janice was wonderful to work with, prompt, informative, and such a pleasant stay! Everything you could thing of was available. Such a peaceful, kid-friendly neighborhood. Our family had an awesome time, close to the beach, village! Very clean and owners where very accomadating. Sure beats any hotel we've stayed in and the price is awesome. We stayed in the home for 5 nights Aug. 2010 and are returning Aug. 2011 :) Thank you Janice and Richard for sharing your home with us.

We just returned from our stay at this lovely home. The home is very large, with plenty of room for our group to spread out. The kids loved the backyard. The fire pit was so fun to use at night. The house is located next to everything! The beds were very comfy. The kitchen is HUGE. The pictures do not do this place justice. The decorating and cozy feel are great. The VIEW! I loved waking up to the expansive ocean view every morning. I hope we can come back and stay again very soon. Loved every bit of it! Thanks!!!
