My family just returned from an wonderful week at Folly Beach. The house is in a great location; quiet part of the beach and an easy walk to the end of the island where we had magnificent views of the Morris Lighthouse. The house was clean and everything worked well. Our family of 5 was very comfortable and could have easily accommodated a few more. The front porch is a great place for morning coffee as well as a place to sit and watch the stars at night. We also enjoyed the proximity to Charleston. One day we took a break from the beach and were in town in 20-25 minutes. We took a harbor tour and learned about the history of the low country and had lunch at one of the many terrific restaurants in town. This was our first time to Folly Beach and, now that we've found a nice place to stay, I'm sure it won't be our last!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
