The White Birch Cottage on Lake Leelanau is an extremely comfortable waterfront house, which sleeps up to 12, offers a huge dock for lounging and docking your boat, kayaks or jet skis.
We are centrally located near the towns of Leland and Suttons Bay, and right on the wine trail. You can even walk to Boathouse Vineyards and Northern Lattitudes! Great for Spring weekends and Fall get-aways -- near hiking, gorgeous kayaking and great restaurants nearby.
The White Birch cottage offers a lovely porch with water views, lush landscaped gardens, a huge lawn, plus attractive interiors with plenty of room for families or couples to spread out.
We have received consistently excellent reviews: 'The house is perfect. Cozy beds for 12-people, a fireplace for the cool evenings, the channel to lake Leelanau behind the house, open kitchen, fully furnished with top notch furnishings and CLEAN! The house is almost split in half as far as sleeping areas which works great if you have late night people and light sleepers that like to go to bed early.
You are minutes to Sutton's Bay, a quick drive to Leland, and situated in the middle of the wine trail (go south one day, north the next). The nearest winery is less than a mile away and there is a distillery that is literally 50 yards or so from the house.'
The White Birch Cottage has 4 spacious bedrooms (3 Queens, 2 Twins) plus an additional bedroom with a twins bunk bed. The house layout provides lots of privacy but also has an open concept living/dining room and kitchen for your family to gather as a group. The house is over 2800 square feet, creating a luxurious vacation experience.
The Master suite on the main floor offers water views and a very comfortable queen bed. The second bedroom with a queen bed overlooks the side patio. The third bedroom is huge and has two twins and a sitting area with tv. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed plus a sitting area with flat-screen tv. The fifth bedroom is an adjacent bunk room with a twin bunk bed. Lots of room for your group to spread out!
