THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL VACATION RENTAL HOUSE! Custom designed for OUR family and filled with beautiful decor and furnishings to share with YOUR family. With upgrades such as natural stone countertops, gas fireplace, hardwood, tile and plush flooring, and an outdoor shower to rinse off from a peaceful day at the beach.
The bedrooms include a Master Suite with King size bed, two Guest Rooms each with a Queen size bed, and "kids" room with two sets of bunk beds (four twins beds). If you choose to eat-in, the dining table seats eight + 3 bar stools.
Other amenities include LG FLATSCREEN TV, DVD, VCR, CD/stereo system, port-a crib, gas grill, fully equipt kitchen, new appliances, all linens provided. Bring your own beach towels and beach chairs.
Harbor Island is a private, gated community just 15 minutes from historic Beaufort, SC. The island is situated on the Atlantic Ocean and offers sunset views over the Harbor River.
The uncrowded beach is over two miles long and is perfect for walking, jogging, biking or simply relaxing. The area hosts several professionally designed golf courses, guided fishing, and fabulous shopping.

What a beautiful home! Your home was everything and more than represented by photos and the description. The home was nicely decorated, fully furnished and clean. We had a wonderful relaxing time enjoying the weather and the view, especially from the upper back deck. Harbor Island was more than we expected. Thanks for sharing your special home with our family so we could visit with our Daughter and Son-in-law who is stationed at Paris Island and to celebrate our Grandson's first Birthday!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Comment Text: We stayed at this house the first week of August, 2007. It is wonderful! Perfect for our family. The view from the upper deck is spectacular, and we had our evening cocktails up there every night. The layout of the house is very user-friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit there. Harbor Island is paradise, and is a wonderful place for families. Safe, nice beach, calm water - great for little guys who want to dig in the sand or build castles. No harsh waves or undertow. The house is a mere 5 min. walk from the house and the owner has provided a wonderful red wagon to carry chairs, coolers, and children. We plan to rent again in 2008. Connie Buford

Beautiful home with great views. Super decks to relax on w/short walk or golf cart ride to beach & community pool. Enjoyed catching & cooking Blue Crabs. Ocean view golf courses were very close. Wonderful little bar/resturant right around the corner! Great place to just plain relax & enjoy yourself. A definite "do again" for my family!
