Ten minute boat ride to the Gulf of Mexico where the coastline is virtually untouched and protected with sawgrass. Excellent fishing on the flats for Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, and Red Fish. Offshore Grouper, Snapper and Amber Jack.
Scallop season (July-September) marks Steinhatchee's busiest season. It's great fun for the whole family. Just bring your mask and snorkel. Or just sit on the front porch rocking chair and watch boats cruise by or an occasional Manatee.
Four bedrooms plus loft. Master bedroom has king bed, main floor 2nd bedroom has queen bed, the other two bedrooms upstairs have two twin beds. The loft has two built in bunks that are large enough to sleep on although they are smaller than a twin bed.
