WOW! I was at first a little put off by the outside of the house.Then I went in. The inside was cozy but not small. Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable! The views were lovely. I absolutely loved the blue slate floors! Wonderful week will definately be back!

We would like to thank Marilyn for the opportunity to stay at her Maldondo beach cottage.The house was in great sape and clean throughout.We had plenty of room for six adults and a baby. The walk to the beach was short and easy sure beats dealing with a hotel atmosphere. There was plenty of room on the beach to be by ourself and enjoy it. It was a quiet neighborhood and good location.

My family and I stayed here this past summer (2010). We loved it !! Excellent location to walk to the beach, Kids loved it also !! We could sit on the balcony and see the ocean !! Hope to rent this again next summer !!

We stayed in April 2010 for a week and I will have to say that we are definitely going to stay here again. The house looks a little run down from the outside, but don't let that fool you, it was clean and nice looking on the inside. The best part was the distance to the beach and the decks facing the beach. The beach is so close, and the view while enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. There were only two things that were negative - 1) they didn't have enough wine glasses, and 2) they didn't provide a grill. If there were more than my wife and I the first would be a problem, and the second was remedied by buying a portable grill from Lowe's in Gulf Breeze. We did have an issue with some of the plumbing, but one call to the owner was all it took to get it fixed immediately. Great place, fantastic location and a great price.

My family and I stayed in June of 2009. We had a wonderful stay and had every thing we needed. We hope to stay again next year. The house was very clean and everything was in working order when we arrived. It was a short walk to the beach, and you could sit out on the back deck and see the ocean. We were sad to have to leave at the end of our week.

Thanks ladies! We had a wonderful time. I so did not want to leave the beach. The house location was perfect for the kids, close enough even the 18 month old could walk to the beach. There was plenty of room for all eight of us. Shell hunting during the day, dinner on the boardwalk in the evening and crabbing on the beach at night made for some great family fun and pictures. Hope we will be able to return in the future!

This beach house is a wonderful deal/steal!! Our young family of four stayed here in 2006 and had a perfect week! Knowing that we got the cheapest rates for ANY lodging with these amenities on Pensacola beach, we had low expectations. What a surprise when we drove up to our very own private (neat as a pin) beachhouse on the gulf side! Things just got better upon entering the house. Clean and lovely with plush bedding, towels and EVERYTHING you could ask for to feel right at home. We just sat on the balcony with gulf views all week commenting on how this place was just too good to be true! We made memories with our family that week that will NEVER be forgotten! Thank goodness for these incredible owners for offering such unbelievable prices for such a comfortable, lovely "how a beach house should be" home! If you are looking for a great deal close to the beach where you can still see and hear the surf and do not need a bunch of ridiculous "fluff", I URGE you to rent this house NOW! You will not regret it!

Hazel & Dave are phenomenal to share this home in the residential section of Pensacola Beach. Wonderful neighbors, great views, quiet street. The house is clean, well equiped and perfect for the beach loving family who likes to live on Island Time. We hope to have a very long a pleasant renting relationship with them.
