Hidden Gem in the PERFECT LOCATION!

This cute little condo is perfectly located smack dab in between the beach (loud and crazy) and the bay (quiet and less crowded). Parking was very easy to find on the street and in the overnight parking lots close by. Janet wasn't kidding when she said to only bring a toothbrush! The condo is furnished and has all kinds of knick-knacks including body wash, shampoo, conditioner and even detergent! The bed could use some more padding but the sofa sleeper was nice and the shower head is lovely. There were 4 adults so it was a bit cramped. However, hanging out in the patio area for meals and bbqing was fun and romantic since the days were much too gorgeous to stay inside anyways! Perfect little getaway that doesn't necessarily need a car since there are a ton of things around. You can cab to the downtown area for about $20, which is too bad to split between the group. Janet gave easy checkin/out directions and was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again! :)

Cute Mission Beach Condo

We had a very nice stay at Mission Beach. Your condo is very cute, clean and conveniently located. The beds (even the sleeper sofa) are very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub on cool evenings and the outdoor grill. It was a little noisy at times...upstairs visitors (kids stomping on hard wood floors), but the floor fan helped drown out the nite time noise. All in all it is a very nice, well priced vacation spot for 2 people. If I ever travel back to this location, I would certainly stay here again.

Wedding Stay

We were in from Wednesday to Monday for a wedding. The place and location was nice. We had 4 staying there...ourselves and our 2 adult children. The place was a bit small for us but we made due with sleeping arrangements. I would not exchange that for the location. The walks on the beach path, the quiet area, the restaurants, the scenery and views were outstanding. My only problem was parking. A space is needed. On three nights we had to park at Belmont Park and walk after 1am after a long nite. I would also suggest a second set of keys for gate and condo be left inside. Plans had to be made based on keys and who was home or not. No of these minor problems take away from the wonderful time we had and your accommodations

S. Mission Beach Condo

We had a wonderful stay in this cute little condo over the Christmas holiday! The location is excellent for both South Mission Beach and the bay located behind the condo. The complex was quiet and at night we could actually here the ocean from the bedroom! Having the bikes available to use was an added bonus!!

S. Mission Beach Deal!

Just completed our third stay at this comfortable condo in S. Mission Beach. We are former S. Mission Beach residents and love the neighborhood. It's a great location whether you want to surf, walk on the beach, or sit on the patio and read a book! The unit has always been clean and is very comfortable.

Satellite TV could be better, only about 10 viewable channels. VCR is dated of course. Wi-fi can be accessed from neighboring networks. Nice spa and bikes are a plus.

Good Deal in Mission Beach

We stayed at this condo for 5 days while we visited our daughter. The price was good. Location was good for activities altho Mission Beach is on the flight path of the airport so there was a lot of plane noise but we did not mind and I imagine this is a common problem for any accomodations at Mission Beach. There were lots of things to do within a short drive - Belmont Park, SeaWorld, Mission Beach boardwalk, lots of restaurants and stores. We ventured out to Old Town and Seaport Village and enjoyed both. We also walked around the Gaslamp District. Highly recommend all three. The condo is pretty tight for more than two people altho our daughter and her husband did stay a few nights on the sofa sleeper. The unit was clean and was fully equipped. The interior was a little dated and the furniture worn but we weren't too bothered by it. Two suggestions I would make would be a new shower head and better lighting in the living room. We enjoyed our stay and would consider this location again for sure.

Great location at the southern tip of Mission Beach. Ocean on one side and the bay on the other. Easy check in with instructions and free parking. Enjoyed the use of the bikes, chairs,beach towels, outdoor grill and kitchen. Bed in the bedroom was nice and cozy. The mattress on the pull out sleeper sofa could use a replacement, not much support. Jacuzzi was out of order for our entire stay but at no fault of the renter. We would definately stay here again when in the San Diego area. Thanks Janet : )

Janet just a quick note to thank you for renting to us for "just" the weekend. We truly enjoyed our weekend and our accommodations. We rode bikes on Saturday for 5 hours and then enjoyed the jacuzzi for happy hour to relax our muscles. We were up and out about 9:30 am and enjoyed breakfast on the beach before heading east to Tierrasanta.

Janet: We had a wonderful time in San Diego and thoroughly enjoyed staying at your Mission Beach condo. We found that it is centrally located and easy to get to just about any of the many attractions we did in no time at all. And the weather was great--we apparently brought some of that nice weather back to Wisconsin because tomorrow it will be in the 40s (when we flew out, it was only 3). The condo looks just like the pictures. It was very clean and has a cozy feel to it and light and airy as well. Our daughter, son-in-law and grand-baby spent the days with us (they live in San Diego). My husband used the grill every night and we enjoyed eating out on the great patio. We used the bicycles and did a lot of walking. It is a great location. Close to everything but far enough away to be peaceful. We would stay again. Thanks Janet.

We had a fun experience staying at this condo. The bikes,beach chairs,towels, and bbq were an added bonus! The only issues were parking and noise. The condo was clean and well furnished. The bathroom could use some updates. Thank you for letting us stay! We would recommend to a friend for a good value.
