Three seperate balcony/decks, totaling 1302 sq. ft. of decking, offer you views of spectacular sunsets and moonlit nights with stars everywhere. Privacy is all yours for a romantic getaway or fun with your family. Minutes away from Cashiers and Saphire Valley and only 20 minutes to the Highlands. This is the perfect house to enjoy as a private retreat or with your friends. If you enjoy boating rent a pontoon, canoe, jet ski or ski boat at the local marina. Everything available down the street and less than a 5 minute drive.
The living room has a woodburning fireplace, satellite television and VCR. The extra large master bedroom has its own gas fireplace. Both rooms have 20 foot ceilings and are beautifully furnished. The entire home has brand new furniture, with a queen size bed with pillow top mattress in the master bedroom. There are twin beds and a king size bed in the upstairs bedrooms. The master bath has an oversized jacuzzi garden bathtub, separate shower and dual sinks. The kitchen and dining area,which opens off the living room are bright and fully equipped. There is a separate laundry room and pantry. The entertainment room is on the lower level and includes a gas stone fireplace, another satellite TV, DVD and a beautiful stone bar to entertain your friends. If you need extra sleeping quarters, the large sofa turns into a queen-size bed. Everything you need is here. Just bring your clothes. Please, no smoking!
There are beautiful mountain streams, numerous waterfalls and popular fly-fishing for your enjoyment. White water rafting is only a short drive away. Mountain bike rentals and horseback riding stables are just around the corner. If golf is your game there are numerous courses nearby. Antiques shops and gift centers are in abundance.

Our stay at Mint Rock was everything I had hoped for and more for a gathering of friends from Utah, Seattle, Houston and County Cork Ireland. With the rainy, chilly weather, we were not able to enjoy the fabulous deck and view of Lake Glenville as much as we woukd have liked, but were all perfectly content just being together and spending much of our time in this spacious and very comfortable home. There was nothing lacking in the accommodations, which made for a very pleasnt stay and we found the suggested sites and restaurants to be well worth the visit. We have, and do, recommend this vacation rental to everyone planning a stay in the Highlands / Cashiers area. Thank you so much.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

With the gorgeous photographs & descriptions of the listing, it was hard to imagine we would be surprised by what a lovely location and home we'd rented. But we were. The view was everything shown with covered & open seating on a huge deck off the upstairs living area. But it was the comfortable furniture inside and out that made our stay so exceptional. Nothing we needed in the home was missing. Within 15 minutes you were in the heart of Cashiers but it was hard to leave this home to explore! There were individual recliners & a sofa w/ two more. The master bedroom linens & bed were luxurious & comfortable. The kitchen was easy to navigate and open to the dining area and living room. Clearly this is a home where the owners have lived and it showed in so many ways. From pots & pans and the wonderful outdoor grille to small touches like a hair dryer & puzzles, most who visit will find all they need to make their stay memorable. Allowing our pet made us feel even more at home. Questions were answered promptly and area information from waterfalls to restaurants were given to us before our trip so that we could decide what & where we wanted to go. Although a three story home, The master bedroom/ bath, kitchen, dining and living room of the home are all just a few steps up from the back yard. If children are visiting, there is a downstairs recreation room just as nice as the living room on the main floor, should they find the adults too boring. The location is private and the home is spacious enough to give everyone their own space to relax. Our deposit was returned promptly & the owners gracious at all times. Treat yourself to a special home in a breathtaking location few ever experience.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We stayed at this Glenville house for a week and had a great time. The drive into Cashiers and out to Highlands was not bad and there are tons of waterfalls and trails and outdoor activities within a fifteen minute drive of this place. The house was immaculate, obviously recently renovated or maybe just very well kept up. Two bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom, master bed/bath downstairs, large, comfy furniture, great kitchen, washer and dryer and a large den downstairs. We used the downstairs room to exercise in, it is a great size and carpeted. The drive up the hill to the cabin was steep for us flatlanders, but we got used to the mountain driving very quickly and had a great time in this house! Also, they provided baby gates, which was crucial for our two little children. Thanks for a great stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
