This beach get-away is a hidden gem on the Oregon coast!! The house greatly exceeded my expectations. My family and I enjoyed a terrific weekend there. The home is cozy without being small. There is an additional lower bedroom to rent, but they also offer a blow up mattress (very comfortable and electric inflation!) that worked wonderfully for my small group. Beautifully decorated, every modern convenience needed (I brought my blender, as another beach house I rented before didn’t include one…they had two!), large yard with a fire pit, very peaceful sitting on the deck and just listening to the sounds of nature, and a spectacular hot tub (spent most of the weekend in there ?). The house is located right on the lake with a private dock, definitely bringing a boat or kayak next time. The owner is very sweet and accommodating, after several e-mails, I felt as though we were friends! The price is very reasonable and the location is perfect, located right between Astoria and Seaside, we visited both during our stay. Beach access is about two blocks away and we enjoyed a nice fire watching the sunset and didn’t have to go far to get back home to the hot tub. We will absolutely come back again! FYI--they also offer a mt hood vacation rental, checking that one out next...I'm sure it will be just as memorable.Thank you Sunset Beach house for the good times and amazing memories!!
