Fremont County in their infinite wisdom has decided to impose fees on private property owners that want to provide short term rentals including our VRBO exchanges. The millions of dollars that tourists bring to the area are not enough for the merchants and partons of the county, they need to impose additional taxes and fees for renters. For the last 5 years we have been paying Fremont County property taxes, personal property taxes on all of our cabin furnishings, lodging taxes, additional assessments for water and sewer, and many other taxes and fees for having rentors in our cabin. This new ordinance compounds additional taxes on the rental and lodging taxes that we are already paying. Rather than pass these high cost fees on to you as a rentor, we have elected to close our online rentals and not line the pockets of Fremont county with their taxation without representation and their exhorbitant fees. This three level, 2500 square foot cabin offers a lot of space to stretch out and relax. Sleeping accommodations include one master suite, two additional bedrooms, huge open loft, and large living room, downstairs area. Bathrooms on all three levels and two on the main level.
This elegant cabin offers all the amenities and comfort for a weekend with friends or family or extended stay. Fully functional kitchen and large dining area. The large wrap-around deck offers a place to relax and barbeque some juicy steaks for dinner. A nearby clubhouse offers a pool, hot tub, sauna, exercise room, ping pong, racquetball, tennis, bike rentals, and ski rentals.
The paved driveway is large enough to park a large RV or snow machine trailer.

Why the Owner Chose Island Park
This is a beautiful vacation location close to Yellowstone Park and great outdoor fun. It is only 2 hours from our home, and so it we are able to use it often.

Great outdoor recreation, golf, tennis, swimming, skiing, and all within 20 minutes of Yellowstone Park.
A great little executive course, 9 holes and great low greens fees
Great destination for Kids..they can feed the fish and watch ducks, muskrats, and all kinds of wildlife only 8 minutes from the door of the cabin
Only 20 minute drive from the door of the cabin...a MUST see for all guests.
