In the main cabin, knotty pine plank walls, wood floors, and open-beam ceiling living room, create a feeling of warmth and classic charm. Leather furniture, Kilim and Oxacan carpets, down bedding, and original artwork enhance the comfort and enjoyment of your stay.
BONUS CABIN! There is an adjoining cottage (aka "The Shack"), with living area, bathroom & shower, plus upstairs loft with queen bed for sleeping. It is better described as "rustic funk", and is perfect for kids and teens!
Situated on a woodsy half acre, one block from lake, year-round vacation retreat is a short walk to Hurricane Bay with it’s scenic long stretches of open beach, and minutes by shuttle to Alpine Meadow’s Sherwood chair, as well as Homewood Ski Resort. Adjacent to the bike trail and a short stroll to public open space, Kilner Park (free tennis courts), off road bike trails, and less than a mile to Sunnyside Resort, Blackhawk Lodge is ideally located for enjoying the diverse activities that Lake Tahoe has to offer, in each of it’s glorious seasons.

Hello, We had such a good time in your cabin!! Everything was perfect! We've rented dozens of houses/cabins in Tahoe for the past couple years and I have to say that your cabin was one of the easiest getaways ever, we found everything we needed and the cabin was very organized and clean. My son had a blast with the tons of snow around your house, he went downhill with the sled and played with the toys, by the end of the day he was so tired that he slept like a baby. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot, very relaxing!! At last, since we had the most amazing time this weekend, I'd like to rent your cabin again in a near future. Thanks for everything!! We had a great time! The cabin was great! Very cool layout. And the hot tub was a nice treat! The cabins were in great shape when we arrived, and we left them in a similar condition. Very well stocked and prepared. We'll definitely keep you in mind for our next trip! Overall, we had a great time!
