The hot tub was incredible at night with all of the stars out and the decor and style of the place was perfect for Tahoe. We saw no bears thank goodness. It was a very busy weekend but well worth it. Hello, We had such a good time in your cabin!! Everything was perfect! We've rented dozens of houses/cabins in Tahoe for the past couple years and I have to say that your cabin was one of the easiest getaways ever, we found everything we needed and the cabin was very organized and clean. My son had a blast with the tons of snow around your house, he went downhill with the sled and played with the toys, by the end of the day he was so tired that he slept like a baby. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot, very relaxing!! At last, since we had the most amazing time this weekend, I'd like to rent your cabin again in a near future. Thanks for everything!! We had a great time! The cabin was great! Very cool layout. And the hot tub was a nice treat! The cabins were in great shape when we arrived, and we left them in a similar condition. Very well stocked and prepared. We'll definitely keep you in mind for our next trip! Overall, we had a great time!

Hi Robin: We had a fabulous trip. Perfect weather. We couldn’t seem to wake up before 9:30 each morning, but we had a great day on a boat and just hung at the beach. My son brought a buddy and they loved the separate cottage. They called it their man-cave. Anyway, loved the cabin (and the hot tub).

We had a great time! We started it off w/ a thunder storm on Sat. The kids loved it, dancing in the rain, then a steady 85 degrees daily after that. The cabin was great, I loved the seperate unit so the kids could stay up way past my bedtime and I could still sleep. We didn't see any bears or other wildlife except chipmunks(that suited me fine) So we all have nice tans to show from lounging on the beach and floating down the river. We definitely loved our stay on the north shore. Thanks, Mary Ann.

Robin- We arrived home at 2 this morning and cannot stop "gushing" about your wonderful cabin. The ever changing weather was a treat. We did have snow on Monday & the guys drove to Nevada to play golf! I left a note in the guestbook, but your suggestion of Coyote Moon was spot on! The weather on Thursday was perfect. We enjoyed the week & hiked, shopped, ate, drank & caught up on everyone's lives. North Tahoe is truly a magical place and we hope to return soon! Thanks for all the effort you put into Blackhawk. We LOVED our mini vacation. The cabin was perfect. Your cabin is our idea of a perfect vacation. We cooked all our meals, I love the stove, and we were in the hot tub a couple of times a day. Our younger daughter moved into the room with the two beds and read a couple of books on the dresser. We would like to visit again. Although we can't decide if it should be another summer vacation or a winter ski vacation. We'll be back to your cabin!

We loved it! Yes, there was lots of snow, but we got out ok. The kids didn't want to leave. Everything was great . We actually owe you a wine glass ( one broke) or we could even buy you a drink sometime, everyone wants to go back again . The jacuzzi was wonderful. Thanks again.

We had a wonderful time staying at Blackhawk Lodge (left you a note). The kids had a great time - the last day we rode bikes (rented in Homewood) into Tahoe City and back. Then we had lunch at the Bridgetender followed by rafting down the Truckee river. On Monday we rented a boat and visited Emerald Bay. I was very pleasantly surprised and relieved to find Lake Tahoe as pristine and quaint as I remembered it from many years ago (when we had annual summer vacations there). I'd like very much to try a visit during the winter - it must be beautiful, and hopefully your cabin is available at some time. With fond memories of our visit, Randy

Hi, Yes, we got into Florida late last night and have spent the day trying to ease back into reality after such a relaxing and wonderful week. We couldn't think of a better way to spend our first week of married life together. The weather was great. It snowed a bit the first night. We hiked a bit, took the lake cruise, and explored Truckee. We had a great time at Blackhawk Lodge. The mountain conditions were fantastic - knee deep in powder on Tues, Wed & Thurs. And on Monday when conditions were wet, we went to the casino out of boredom and won enough to pay for our holiday! We all really like the coziness of your lodge and the beds are great.
