This lovely, contemporary house has three bedrooms plus a sleeping loft and two full baths, each with a tub/shower.
It is a two-story home with cathedral ceilings in the living room and ceiling fans throughout. The house has central air conditioning, remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. New 42" LCDTV with Cable TV service and high-speed wireless internet. Free NETFLIX.
The kitchen has a new microwave, new refrigerator with water dispenser, new oven and dishwasher, and disposal. There is plenty of light with all new Anderson windows, but with light-darkening shades in the bedrooms for those who like to sleep a little later in the morning.
Enjoy an easy walk to the lifeguarded beach (three blocks). A screened porch, deck and upper balcony overlook the canal and boat dock. Beach chairs and sand toys are provided. There is an outdoor shower so you can wash off before going into the house. THE BEACH HAS BEEN REPLENISHED WITH NEW DUNES AND OVER 100 YARDS OF NEW SAND FROM THE DUNES TO THE WATER'S EDGE.
House sleeps six to eight. Bedrooms have: two-singles, one queen, one king. The loft has a day bed which converts into two singles and the living room has a new queen, sleep-sofa. All matresses are high quality, relatively new and quite comfortable.
There is one bedroom and full bath on the first floor; two bedrooms and loft on the second floor. a pleasant sitting deck is on the second floor looking over the canal. A second television is in the loft.
The house is in a family neighborhood with only single-family homes. There is a great beach and a nearby wildlife area. Access to the beach is basically limited to people in the community through managed parking permits.
The area is great for walking, bike riding or jogging - no hills and wide pathways. You will really like watching the sunsets over the bay. BRING KAYAKS AND EXPLORE THE CANALS AND ASSAWOMAN WILDLIFE AREA. Two kayaks at the house.
It's an easy drive to Bethany, Rehoboth, Fenwick Island and Ocean City, Maryland, for sight-seeing, walking the boardwalk, playing miniature golf, buying fresh fish or locally-grown vegetables, eating in all types of restaurants, going to hear music on the boardwalk or at late-night venues, and indulging with some real ice-cream cones.
South Bethany is what you remember beach was like as a kid. The house is a good rental value and we think you will enjoy your stay. Please note that tenants provide linens, including pillow cases, sheets and towels.

Our stay was fantastic; your house fits our every need. You probably should take a look at the toaster, only heats on one side. (new toaster supplied). As in the past, we look forward to future use. Have a great summer. We had a great time! Perfect weather and really enjoyed the house and kayaks. Thanks for everything. We had a great time – the weather was beautiful! We had no problems with the house and were very happy with everything. Thanks for all your suggestions and thoughtfulness. We hope to be able to come back next year. It had been a long time since we were on vacation and now I remembered how great the beach was! We did go down to Ocean City one morning and decided we were thankful that we did not rent there - too busy! We had a great time at your house, the neighborhood is lovely, and the house was perfect for us.
