Sea-Schell has it all...waterfront, top of the line 2500 square foot house built in 2002 where you will feel pampered by the extensive list of amenities, quiet location within walking distance to public beaches, Gulf Shores shopping and restaurants.
Sea-Schell boasts a private 15x35 ft. saltwater heated gunite swimming pool with waterfall and inlaid tile (sun & moon) mosaics. Sea-Schell has views of Little Lagoon and a private boat launch with dock for easy access to Little Lagoon. Bring the RV as there is special RV parking with a 30 AMP hook-up.
Sea-Schell can accommodate fourteen to eighteen guests. The Master (king) has a large private bath with double shower, large whirlpool tub, double sinks, walk-in closet and french doors opening to screened porch with lagoon views.
The second bedroom (queen) has french doors also opening to screened porch with lagoon views. The third bedroom (queen).
The upstairs level fourth bedroom has two sets bunk beds; full-beds down & twin-beds up. This room also has a couch that folds into a full bed and a Loft with two single beds. The fourth bedroom also has access to a full bath and boasts a 40" plasma flat screen connected to Dirct TV HD satellite with surround sound & a Sony PS3 game system w/ BlueRay, connected to Internet. The upstairs level also has a dry-sauna.
Sea-Schell house also has a fold-out sofa in the living room.
Relax Sea-Schell style in the living room with its 25 foot vaulted ceiling open to the kitchen and dining room, which seats eight. The living room is perfect for viewing the 52" TV connected to Direct-TV HD-satellite and surround sound system w/ iPod connecting cables.
The screened porch with 3 ceiling fans/lights overlooking the canal and Little Lagoon is very large and has a cushioned seating area plus a table with five chairs and a cool tiki bar.
Relax in the sauna located next to a full bath on the upper level. Use of a kayak, paddles & life preservers. Play on the outdoor ping pong table under the house; rain/shine/night or day.

Why the Owner Chose Homes, Single Family
Sea Schell is our families 2nd home. We use it often and have many relatives along the gulf coast. Sea Schell often acts as a meeting place for our family events. We rent a few weeks a year to help defray some of the home costs. The house is also becoming a test & demonstration site for new "smart home technologies" which is a new business focus of ours, so there are many cool remote control features in the house, from water sensors, IP managed themostat & door lock sys., to several outdoor video cameras for liability & security reasons. No cameras installed inside the house.
This is 4/10 of a mile from Sea Schell; a 1 minute car ride or 8-10 minute walk.
Restaurants, shops, bars, ice cream, entertainment begins on Gulf Shores Pkwy (Hwy 59) located 3/10's of a mile from Sea Schell. our house is far enough away from this to be peaceful & quiet, but clo

Our family lives in the Chicago suburbs and we spend lots of time in Gulf Shores. I attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL, but grew up near Chicago. We have always loved the beach and it has been a lifetime goal to have our own place at the beach. We have, and continue to make, many great family memories in Gulf Shores.

The house was wonderful, the owner was great to work with. The pool was fantastic. The beach was fine, a few tarballs, but the water was fine. Great location, lots of things to do in a 5 mile radius. The Oyster House was great. Go before 6:00 pm to eat or you will have a long wait. Lulu's was great too! The Hangout was great as well. My grandkids had fun at Waterville and the Zoo! Shopping at Tanger Mall was fun. We ran out of Toilet paper and paper towels the 3rd day, but there were several stores close by. The upstairs shower didn't work, but we had two other showers. We all had a wonderful time. The listing of the house was accurate, but when we got there, it was even better. Good luck to everyone affected by the Gulf Oil Spill!
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

My family stayed at this home last June and we had one of the most wonderful trips ever! The house was beautiful. It was very clean and better than we expected. The views are goregeous and the pool was where we spent the majority of our time. It is a little too far to walk to the beach if you have much to carry, but parking was not a problem, so we always just drove over there. I hope to come back again someday soon.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
