Unique ranch house with the trappings of a horse farm harkening back to an earlier era in a colorfully charming town full of things to do and see. The Adobe Ranch House is a relaxing setting with many interesting fixtures. Owner Tom was very welcoming and informative. I have stayed on two occasions which is obviously the highest praise I can give. This rental is best for those seeking a casual experience far from crowds. Cave Creek is a small but interesting town removed from the metropolitan Phoenix din. It is not so remote that it not convenient to Scottsdale attractions if desired.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The ranch is quite spacious with lots of authentic details in the decor. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a a washer/dryer wich coms in very handy when travelling. Bedrooms are very nice and so are the bathrooms. You cannot fault this property. The views are great, there is quite a bit of land around the house. You feel quite private. At night the stars come out, a dazzling sight. The only thing that could be up dated is the pool furniture. There are only 2 sun beds and chairs, for a family a bit scarce. There is enough to do in the area, hiking, horse riding, shopping in Scottsdale, but you'll need a car. The bars and restaurants are fine, but bothing within walking distance. Therefore, it is a treat to stay in and do same cooking and eat outside on the patio. The peace and quiet are wonderful. We saw coyotes,lots of birds and the odd tarantula. All in alll a wonderful spot to get away from it all and enjoy the western way of living.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.
