Are you looking for that quiet, relaxing place to get away from it all AND you want to be close to the beach? This is the place! The house is in a gated community so it's great for kids to be outside riding bikes and playing ball.

Magnificent views everywhere! Water just out the back door-and bay views and wetland views from every window, deck or screened porch. There are two family rooms so the kids and adults can have their own space! The first floor family room has a wet bar. There are 2 master bedrooms, one on each floor. There are 2 screened porches, (one with an outdoor ping-pong table) and 3 decks (two covered) so that you have room to spread out. Each of the second floor bedrooms has a balcony. There is even a porch swing great for reading or that morning cup of coffee!

The large pool and tennis court are located at the end of the street. Wireless internet access is also available.

The beach is only about a 5 minute walk. You can spend the morning at the beach, the afternoon in the pool, and the evening playing tennis or crabbing! Shops, restaurants, and night life are just minutes away yet this home feels very private, calming and relaxing. Come see for yourself!

  • I just wanted to let you know that we absolutely loved our time in your gorgeous home. We enjoyed our four days in an inviting setting with everyone there in your large home. It was great to be so accessible to so many fun places. We particularly enjoyed having the whole family around the grand dining room table, the magnificent sunsets from the front porches, watching the turtles from your back deck, walking along the shoreline, wading into the surf, watching my grandson delight in the waves, burying him in the sand, trying to build sand castles together, and strolling the nearby boardwalks so we could eat ice cream and various otherwise "forbidden foods." In the end, there was so much to do, we had no time for the ample supply of board games and televisions. It was simply about being together as a family in a luxurious but comfortable home at the shore.

  • We just spent a very relaxing long weekend with my entire family for my dad's 70th birthday celebration! The house was clean and decorated very nicely. We had everything we needed...even perfect weather! I especially liked the layout for our large family with 2 separate living room areas. The large kitchen table was also great so that everyone could eat together. It has a pool and a tennis court within the neighborhood which was great for our children.   • We used the house for a weekend retreat (Feb. 3-5, 2006) and it was perfect location. The house offers such wonderful views -- breathtaking sunsets -- and ample space for (8) women escaping their lives and having a working weekend. The large dining room table and spacious living rooms (on each level) also provide wonderful meeting space so we hardly ever left the house all weekend. We have already booked the house for next year's retreat!

  • I just wanted to drop you a quick line and thank you for a fantastic, very memorable weekend. Your house in Bethany Beach was just perfect and so beautiful. Everyone agreed that it was the best New Years in recent memory. We were a group of former Peace Corps volunteers getting together for the first time in quite awhile...and this venue was exactly what we needed. Thanks so much. One quick question...for how long are the weekend rates the same for this house??? We're already talking about doing it once more before the winter ends...perhaps February, March or April.
