We are close to the end of our wonderful winter here at Frangista Breeze - and we don't want to go north!! This whole winter has been so comfortable, and so enjoyable - the best year yet, and we have been coming to the Destin area for 8 years now. Everything we could need or want was available to us, and we really felt at home. Thank you Amy and Lauri for sharing your beautiful house with us. It could not have been any nicer.

We loved the house! The location is fantastic. The beach is around the corner with a private entrance. We walked to restaurants and enjoyed walks along the beach several times a day including sunset and moonlight strolls. The house has plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and a private pool. The 5 of us relaxed with drinks by the pool and had breakfast on one of the balconies. The location was fantastic for dinning and happy hour opportunities each with a great deck and view of the beach. In addition, we made great dinners with local seafood and fantastic breakfasts. The house definitely feels like home. The furniture is lovely and very comfortable. I'd go back right now if I could.

5 days, 5 women and the perfect place to get away from it all and cut loose from life's relentless demands and lately, disappointments. Our biggest concern was what and when we were going to eat and did we have enough cocktails. The spacious and well stocked kitchen was my playground from which to serve Red Velvet Cake, coffee and freshly baked honey goat cheese & fig muffins, mussels steamed in white wine and shrimp & scallops sauteed in butter, garlic and heavy cream. We were blessed with amazing weather and had all the windows open in the living area upstairs ~ we spent many nights curled up on the sofas talking, talking trash and sharing our hopes, frustrations and dreams. We slept like the dead and lived each day as if no cares existed. The location couldn't have been better and was very conducive to morning, afternoon and moonlit walks on the beach and sidewalks. Pompano Joe's was there to offer refreshment after a long drive from Atlanta. Some sight-seeing over in Seaside provided a nice first day excursion. We spent many an afternoon lazing around the lovely dipping pool in the private courtyard...sunning ourselves, singing at the top of our lung, dreaming of our new businesses that would revolutionize the corporate world. The downstairs room with the futon was transformed into the "spa" room as we were extremely lucky to be traveling with a masseuse. The setting couldn't have been more perfect or healing. When you go, take your coffee and go sit on the front porch and let the morning breezes gently coax you awake and if by 10:30 you still haven't figured out what you're going to do with the day, smile and embrace doing nothing. By the time we got back to Atlanta we were already asking "when can we go back?"

I've been going to Destin for years with my family and friends and typically share a home to save some money. During Christmas, I took my family to Destin and stayed at this home and we had a great stay. The home is set up with two lounge areas so there is plenty of space so you don't feel like you're crowded. The kitchen is pretty big and open and you can visit while cooking. We brought our dog and he loved the back yard (it is fenced in and we kept him there without any worries). The location is terrific. You can walk to three restaurants easily, or walk to some shops. But its a quick drive to the outlets or other restaurants. And the beach is very easy to get to with a short walk, even for grandma. I really liked this house and the location and will definately return because it fits our family well.

A small group of us stayed here last week, searching for fun and rejuvenation, after a stressful winter. The home is beautiful, just as the pictures show. The house has tons of room, comfy beds, and a nice big kitchen that could accommodate more than one cook. There's easy access to the beach, where we walked every day and a short walk in either direction delivers you to yummy seaside restaurants (I recommend the grouper sandwich at the Whale Tale and the oysters at Pompano Joe's). I'd love to go back again...very soon!

My family stayed in this house last year. We really enjoyed the house. We had 11 people in the house and had plenty of room. It's great for multiple families because the house is divided between the upstairs and downstairs, yet still cozy. Only complaint we had was that there were ants in the kitchen which had to be sprayed. The pool is quite a bit smaller than it looks in the picture, but it was perfect for a quick dip and for the little kids. The community pool right around the corner is fabulous, and the beach is a short walk. Overall we were very pleased with the house and had a great vacation.
Owner response:The small ants were sprayed during the visit. We changed cleaning companies and the house is very clean.

We had a wonderful visit and cannot wait to go back. The home is lovely - and very spacious. It's in walking distance to restaurants, shops, and most importantly - just a quick walk away from the beach. I would recommend this house to all my friends. It's a perfect getaway for a large family or group of friends.

We took our employees and their wives to this house so the men could go fishing and we could all go to the Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores. We had a great time! They didn't catch any fish but still enjoyed themselves. The way the house is set up the older people stayed upstairs and the 30 somethings stayed downstairs. We did not use the pool but did go to the beach. I took my dog and was a little disappointed that the entire yard is not fenced but around the pool and a patch of yard was fenced so she stayed there while we went to Gulf Shores. She did go to the beach and no one objected. If we ever do anything like this again, I'm sure we will come back here.

I stayed with a group of ladies for a girls weekend away and we had so much fun! Lots of space for alone time and/or together time. Plenty of room for all and very clean! The beach is just a short walk away, beautiful sunrise/sunsets, we walked to restaurants and shops, great fun! I would recommend this home as a rental for your next vacation!
