We have stayed in many cabins with nice settingsbut this is one of the best. The weather and recreation is wonderful here in the summer.

It was wonderful to return to such a familiar place- we've decided to buy this when we win the lottery!! But a totally different trip vs. last year - lots more hikes, yay! Recommend a walk in Kendrick Park (7m west) and Kachina Trail up on the mountain. Also enjoyed: Roma Pizza, newly re-opened Bookmans! (tons of free kid activities, BTW), Oak Creek microbrew beers, 3rd Floor balcony drinks at The Weatherford downtown, New Frontier's grocery (so expensive, but so good!), Pato Thai -downtown, brunch at The Place (cheap and good!), concerts in Wheeler Park (free!), Thorpe Park - still a classic for us!! Hope to get back again at some point. The hammock is my favorite spot - great to watch clouds waff by and shadows steal across the mountain. :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our month at this beautiful location and comfy cabin! There is so much to do and see in the area that even a month wasn't sufficient to do it all. Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Sunset Crater Volcano and the Wupatki Indian Ruins East of Flagstaff, The Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome and so much more. Thanks for such a great place to stay in and we hope to return!

Sallie is from AZ, born and raised. We now live in VA and try to come back to AZ at least once a year. LOVE the view, it's really cold though compared to Scottsdale - 73 degrees_ when we left there on Saturday! Sunday - 2 hour hike on Snow Bowl. Monday- Drove to Parks, Lake Mary (more snow!) Tuesday- snow shoeing at Nordic Center (Beautiful!) Wed.- Sedona & shopping! Thursday - Last day - hiked and played in the snow.

Thank you very much for this vacation! This is a nice, cozy cabin with an amazing view. We hope to be back soon. Additional thanks for the Christmas tree you decorated for us. We spent a week up here escaping the heat. We had a great time - Grand Canyon, Williams, hiking and looking for horny toads and earthworms in the back yard. Spending time in the hammock was definitely a highlight, as was visits from the orange cat who lives next door. We had some great food as well - New Jersey Pizza Co, Diablo Burger and Satchmo's were awesome. We had a great week - Flagstaff and it's surrounding area are so much fun to explore!

Being from Phoenix, we escaped the heat - it was wonderful!! Things we liked: 1. View from hammock...sigh... 2.Snow Bowl hiking trails (esp. Lamar Haines trail) 3.Drinks at Monte Vista 4.Buffalo Park urban trail 5.Happy Hour appetizers at the end of the road 6.visits from Wilbur, neighboring cat 7.Back patio sunsets 8.Dual shower heads!! 9.Hullabaloo music festival - good beer and family friendly!! 10.Tomatoes from farmer's market 11. Lumber Yard's amber beer 12. Playing in the loft area with son 13.Grilling when temp. is less than grill! 14.That comfy green love seat Cannot believe our month has passed so soon! We are cool, calm and relaxed...hopefully we'll be back!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! What a beautiful place this is. We had a wonderful time here. We went sledding, to Lowell Observatory and stood outside at night to stare at the stars. Looking forward to coming back!

We love this cabin. Beautiful mountains. Great place. Heater works very well, kept us all warm. I loved our home here because it was quiet, cozy and stress-free. The kids enjoyed playing in the mountain air.

This cabin is wonderful! We are always unsure what to expect and as soon as we walked in we were so pleased with this cabin! How beautiful, outdoorsy and CLEAN! We can't wait to come back. We were already trying to figure out when that will be.

My aunt and I came up to Flagstaff with the intent to get away from Phoenix and the 100+ temps, to relax and watch videos all day long. But Flag is too beautiful to ignore. So we ventured out to explore the local area. Went to Lowell Observatory and went on the ski ride to the top of Mt. Humphrey's -Beautiful view. The stars in your sku are the most beautiful I've seen. So clear, so close looking. We even were blessed with some thunder and lightening storms. Beautiful weather. Such a lovely town. We hope to come back soon. Enjoyed your home with the wonderful view of the San Francisco Peaks and the peaceful days and nites. Thank you so much.

Katie & Joe- Your cabin was a perfect home away from home and very comfortable and well equipped. Thanks for making everything so convenient. The view is spectacular (Dallas is so flat). Northern Arizona is incredibly picturesque with everchanging landscapes and more than we ever expected. Our adventures were many: hiking in the Lava River Cave (way cool!) sunrise and sunset at the Grand Canyon, hiking at Oak Creek Canyon and Red Rock State Park (great swimming and relaxing) and a hot air balloon ride over Sedona. Can't wait to return for some river rafting down the Colorado River!

This house served as a great "homebase" as we explored the many beauties of Arizona. Our favorites: Grand Canyon (you must see it), the drive from Flagstaff to Sedona on 89A, and the very close-by Black Walnut Canyon. Our daughter, who is doing a family medicine rotation "on the Res" in Tuba City, was able to join us for most days--and of course our time with her was our highlight!

The Wyatt family from Colchester, Essex, England came to ski, but sadly there was no snow!! However, the sun shone, the cabin was very warm, snug and well equipped and we enjoyed our stay here very much! Using the advice book, we visited the Grand Canyon, the Navajo Reservation, Sedona, Oak Creek, the Lakes and much, much more! We will recall the mountains, canyons and forests for many years to come and will no doub't return some day! Certainly we will recommend this cabin and Arizona to all our friends!

Awesome place guys! It sure was relaxing. We wanted to see snow but only got a dusting on the mountain. Had a nice trip to the Grand Canyon via the 'Grand Canyon Railroad' It was a beautiful day. Can't wait to use the place during the summer.

Waking up to the slow rising sun is better than any alarm clock will ever be. The greatest thing that you guys did for us was leaving books and a guide to Flagstaff. Also having the cabin fully stocked was a life and time saver! We are so happy to have picked this cabin. I am sure that we will not hesitate to return and stay here again next winter.
