Charming cottage

Charming is the best description of this property. We stayed for two weeks in late August with our daughter and her three children. There was plenty of beds to comfortably accomodate everyone. Lots of toys and videos for the kids. They loved the trampoline. At the lake, the canoe, row boat and paddle boat got lots of use.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your piece of heaven on earth. The kids had a great time both in and out of doors in Huntington and the surrounding "Hill towns". You and your family have truly made your abode very comfortable and memorable!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful home! We love your "hidden hills"-- what a gem of an area! Our family proved this week that even with 5 days of rain, the house is relaxing and fun. The view from the field is spectacular. We can attest that the heating works wonderfully-- We will be back!! We love the decor, it is charming times two-- don't change a thing! This vacation will long be one of our favorites.

What a wonderful vacation! We loved exploring the hilltowns, enjoyed an afternoon at the Blanford Country Fair, good breakfasts at Huckleberries and shopping for "treasures". The children had a fun time at Look Park, but 5 yo Ethan especially loved playing at the dock with the innertube and his boats. 8 mo old Caroline explored every nook and cranny she could find in the house! Most of all we adored the cottage; it was such a perfect vacation home-- comfortable, cozy and just what we had hoped for! Thanks so much, we hope to return!

This cottage was everything we could have hoped for. It was a break from our typical crazy lives. The weather was amazing: warm days and cold nights! The toys, especially the books, were a real hit with our 2 boys. The lake was wonderful, especially the paddleboat. This is a special place and one to cherish. Thanks again!

Lovely canoe rides! Everything we thought we needed was here, so the cabin is wonderfully furnished. Beds are very comfortable! Excellent shopping suggestions. You did a great job for people who have never been in the area, thanks for thinking of everything! Everyone had a great time. Thanks for a great week!

We live only an hour away and were so happy to find this lovely end of summer getaway! We all relaxed, loved the breezes coming in from all directions. The girls relaxed in their own "home" at the bunkhouse. They spent time in the day playing dress up and watching movies. Your dock is great away from all the masses. We ate at the Rapids and took long walks. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

We hate to leave this charming cottage, so full of memories and love! 8 yo Miles is clamoring for final go on the trampoline and grandma enjoying a quiet spot in the sun. We caught several bass and many sunnies in the lake and enjoyed a quiet evening BBQ with friends. Thank you for sharing this special spot.

Within minutes of arriving here, our daughter was asking, "Can we rent this again next summer?" We feel the same way. The combination of rustic-ness, relaxed-ness, proximity to the wonderful lake, family-friendliness, along with the amazing stock of just about everything made it all that we were hoping for and more-- Thanks so much!
