My husband and I stayed 2 weeks at this ideally located condo. The ground-floor ski locker holds multiple pairs of skis, poles etc. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and the living room area is spacious. The living room and both bedrooms offer sweeping views of the ski mountain and valley. I augmented my skiing with yoga classes using the free passes to the JR Gym. Because this condo is so well-situated, we walked everywhere: to the movies, restaurants, concerts, grocery shopping.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We just got back from Thanksgiving in Aspen. The check-in was easy. The condo is well decorated and spacious for a two bedroom unit.Reserved parking at the building is convenient but be hardly used the car because shopping and eating in town is an easy and lovely walk.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We stayed there last Christmas & booked it again for this year.Location is great- We walked to City Market & took the free bus across the street to the Gondola. The street level indoor Ski locker is convenient & the top floor corner Condo is quiet & has great views. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home. Kids loved the large walk-in shower & bedroom TVs. Let it snow!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I and another couple recently stayed in this condo. Hadn't stayed there before but we've stayed in several others over the years. We found the accomodations clean and comfortable and as advertised. Great access to town and the mountain. We hope to return next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed in this condo in July of 2012. The location, view from the balcony, TV's and internet were fine. However, there were some drawbacks. First and foremost, the jacuzzi tub/shower in the master bedroom is a joke. It is built into the wall. This means that to get into it you have to climb over a three foot wall, naked of course, and then lower yourself down into the small round three foot deep tub. I am an average size person in decent shape, so I decided to give it a try. I filled the tub and climbed in. When I turned on the jets, the water immediately became cloudy and had small bits of debris in it including hair. Needless to say, I turned the jets off, drained the tub and took a shower. Of course to get out, still naked and now wet, you have to climb out of the three foot deep tub and over the wall.to get back into the bedroom. For the rest of our week long stay, I took my showers in the walk in shower for the other bedroom. By the way that shower has no seat or step in it for ladies to use to shave their legs. All of the beds are mattresses on wooden frames. There is no box springs. The kitchen is not up to the standards for a condo of this price. Counter tops are formica, Appliances are ordinary. One of the spin cycles on the washer does not work. Toaster does not work, although there is a toaster oven. Maid service was once a week not twice. One of the window openers in the master bedroom was broken. Fixed it myself and then called maintenance when it broke again. Shared grill is on the ground floor which makes it inconvenient to use. When we rented this unit, the VRBO ad said it had a shared hot tub, communal pool and passes to the Aspen Club, which it did not. There was not a walk through by the management team on arrival. We picked up the keys at their office. They forgot to give us our welcome package and passes to the gym. We had to call and it was brought by later. We have rented many upscale condos over the years. Needless to say, this property did not come up to those standards.Owner response: The Jacuzzi pump/filter issue has been repaired. We apologize for that inconvenience. The soaking tub is is designed for one or two people. The walk-in shower in the other bathroom is a convenient alternative. The beds are specifically designed for a mattress without a box spring. Weekly rentals enjoy mid-week maid service and an exit clean. There are passes for the Jean-Roberts Gym, a short stroll from the condo. Check their website for details. Eric & Mary
