Our home on Squaw bay is an ideal place to spend your vacation. It is lake front with dramtic views of the lake and mountains from the house and two decks. We have a private boat dock that includes wet bike docking and swim ladder. The best thing is our proximity to town - 10 minutes by boat. Lake Coeur D'Alene is a HUGE lake that extends over 80 miles south of town.
Keep this in mind when you choose a home to rent. Our vacation home is located on Squaw Bay which is on the east side of the lake, across the bay from the new Gosser Ranch Golf and Lake Club, and just minutes from town. This newer, modern home is very tastefully done with lots of ammenities and windows and a great view from all of them.

My husband and I grew up in the Midwest, and decided to vacation in Idaho one summer, and we fell in love with Idaho. The mountains were breathtaking; the lakes were pristine clear and the weather was incredible. We bought a home in northern Idaho because we loved the outdoors, snow, mountains and lakes and we wanted a to share this experience with our friends and family. We wanted to offer them the opportunity to relax, enjoy the beauty of Northern Idaho and visit with us.
Why the Owner Chose Squaw Bay
Our home is directly on the lake, and it’s a 20-minute car ride to Coeur d Alene, bike and hiking trails. It is a 5-10 minutes boat ride to restaurants, nightly entrainment, local coffee shops, grocery store, and fuel for the boat is directly across the bay. You can take relaxing walks in the morning and evening or dangle your feet in the water as the sunset. You can enjoy your favorite beverage from the top deck and watch the deer as they nibble from the trees. The National forest is minutes away and boat rentals close by.

Our home is designed for FAMILY FUN, it has a water trampoline, paddle boat, rubber water rafts, life vest, water toys, room to dock a boat or wave runners. You can swim off the dock and the water clear.

I almost hate to write a review as as I don't know if I want everyone to know how great this location is! We had such a great time with 2 families and a set of grandparents at your home. The location is truly the best. Great for swimming, tubing, water-skiing and wake-boarding. The paddle-boat was really fun as was the water-trampoline. You are also close to town and the little store across the bay is adorable. I'm only giving it a 4 out of 5 as finding parking for our boat trailer was a bit of an issue but we were able to work it out. Your house has everything we needed and a well-equipped kitchen which we appreciated!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
