Conveniently, you are also just steps away from Kalmus Beach (public). Situated at the end of Ocean Avenue, Kalmus is best known for its amazing windsurfing.
It offers wide life-guarded beaches, restrooms, showers, a snack bar, and one of the best views of boats coming in and out of Hyannis Harbor.
Hyannis Harbor is approximately one and half (1 1/2) miles from the house - a leisurely walk or a short drive!
Scenic Hyannis Harbor is home to the Island Ferries (to and from Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket), Charter Boat opportunities, Sightseeing Excursions and great Restaurants (like Baxter's, Tugboat's, and Spanky's Clam Shack).
Continue another block and you will reach historic Main Street, offering more opportunities to sightsee, shop and eat!
Whether you are on the beach or on the go, your day won't be complete without a Sunset Happy Hour on the back deck. Celebrate the end of a great day next to the sparkling water of your backyard pond (don't forget your fishing rod!).
