Thank you for sharing your Superior Hideaway with our family. This was our second time staying at the cottage and as it was the first time, it was a wonderful week on Lake Superior. The cottage is extremely spacious and clean and the privacy we experienced gave us a chance to feel like we truly got away from the pace of the city. It has all the ammenities of a house; full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, brand new front and back decks, while still having the location of a cottage. The sunset views from the deck were gorgeous and we had a lot of fun not only relaxing by the water, but doing some great daytrips. As always, we went north along the Superior Coast to see some of the most beautiful landscape in Canada, and this year we even tried ziplining, which the kids absolutely loved. We kept ourselves busy all day long working up our appetities for fresh whitefish on the barbeque, Having grown up in the area, I remember very clearly watching the huge lightning storms come across the lake and we were treated to this one night; better than a fireworks display. Thank you again for letting us stay in your cottage, we come back to Sault Ste. Marie often and we will be back again to your place for sure. Randy

Stunning Cottage on Lake Superior's Bluewater Bay!

Great private location, lots of amentities, very clean & comfortable. We loved watching awesome sunsets and enjoyed daily walks to the nearby sandy beach. The autumn leaves put on a spectacular colour show. It was so relaxing to sit by the lake and leave your cares behind. Our 2 beagles enjoyed cottage life too! We had a wonderful time on vacation. Spectacular autumn landscape, great hiking trails, rugged and beautiful lake shore. Saw a few amazing sunsets and then some crisp, clear starry night skies (not visible in Chicago). We hiked everyday and our dog had the best time of his life. What a lovely spot you two found. Thank you so much for the comfortable accomodation in a little patch of heaven.

Thank you Bernie and Carol for a wonderful vacation! The cottage was very comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. We watched some beautiful sunsets over the lake and had smora's by the bonfire all in the private backyard. The sandy beach down the road was perfect. Beautiful pine trees/forest surround the property. Close enough to visit Mackinac Island for the day. Great local fresh fish too! Hope to come back next summer. Thanks again.

Our stay at Bernie and Carol'S place was very pleasant. Superb location, friendly locals, fantastic lake views. Lucky for us the weather was perfect while we were there ( july 07 ). Our golden retriever had as fine a time as we did, swimming in the lake every day. Bluewater Bay is beautiful. Thanks Bernie, thanks Carol for being such friendly landlords.

We stayed here as a family---2 adults and 2 toddlers. It was a really great place; exactly as advertized, with lots of privacy, and lots of space; it is also very clean. Bernie and Carol were great 'landlords'. The swimming beach is less than 5 mins away by car---the water is very clean, and the beach is very private. I do suggest doing your shopping and groceries in Sault Ste Marie on the way to the cottage, to save yourself an additional trip into town. Thanks very much, Bernie and Carol!

Family had a wonderful time. Swimming, fishing, hiking, relaxing, campfires - couldn't have been better! Secluded without feeling isolated. Location is gorgeous, accomodations were as described, host was exceptionally gracious!
