At the same time, you can also enjoy the comfort and convenience of a first-class home base from which you can launch your dream vacation, fish the Yellowstone River just out your front door, hike nearby 10,000-foot Emigrant Peak which is practically in your back yard, soak your bones just down the road at Chico Hot Springs, and see the wolves of Yellowstone Park just a short drive away.

Your family will have plenty of space for a two-week vacation, but the location also works perfectly for weekend getaways. There is also the separate, historic, Fisherman's Cottage for even more privacy, and the entire property is terrific for a small wedding/reception or family reunion.

Why the Owner Chose Paradise Valley

I spent several years working in Yellowstone when I was younger and had fallen in love with the Paradise Valley. It is one of the most beautifual and relaxing places on earth.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin

We are less than an hour from Yellowstone Park, two minutes from the river, ten minutes from a hike in the mountains, and ten minutes from world renowned Chico Hot Springs. The views from our deck are unsurpassed and the house has everything. Any questions?

Owner's Map of Paradise Valley

We purchased the house and cabin in 2004 as we wanted to have a getaway for our family that was close enough to our home in Bozeman but also light years away in attitude and close to Yellowstone Park and the River. It has turned to be the best move we've ever made.
We get to spend time there as a family and share it with the world as well!

Great place to stay!

We had such a wonderful family vacation. The decks outside were great to enjoy the breathtaking senery. We got the telescope out and viewed two owls down by the Yellowstone river. The last night produced a full moon over the snow capped mountains that was beautiful. We went onto Yellowstone Park two times which was only about 40minutes to the North gate entrance. We saw Bison, Bear and Elk. The town of Livingston offered souvenier shopping and some nice causual dining. We would recommend this property to folks who like privacy and a causual, clean nicely appointed cabin. Thanks for having us. Also we went on a white water rafting trip out of Gardiner which was thrilling to say the least.

Truly Paradise!

My family stayed at The Yellowstone House last week and it was the one of the best vacation experiences I ever had. My parents , 3 sisters , various husbands and a nephew stayed the week, (we also rented the cabin). The house could not have been lovelier and ready with everything you could want. The cabin also afforded my sister and her husband some privacy, but the house is set up in such a way that everyone has there own space. We sat on the 2 decks every morning and evening for sunrise and sunsets. Watched the deer go down to the river every night right past the house. My Parents first took us to Yellowstone 40 years ago and have not been back since then, this was a very special trip for them as well as us kids. Three generations shared this experience. Our memories of the family stay at Yellowstone House will be as priceless to us as those of our first trip out west as a family 40 years ago. Hope to return to Paradise Valley and The Yellowstone House. (I have over 400 pics, does that tell you anything)

Dear Tom, Thank you for helping to make our family's dream come true. A famly Christmas vacation in Yellowstone National Park. Your home set the stage for a wonderful family gathering, from the well appointed kitchen, a glowing riverrock fireplace, a perfect sunrise, to soft and inviting touches.Thank you for the passes to Chico Hot Springs. A well deserved respite from a week of snowmobiling in Yellowstone, to skiing at Bridger Bowl, to dogsledding on our last day! The layout of your home was perfect for our children, ages 35,27,26,24,23 as they could retreat to the rec. room and we could escape to our bedroom loft.Your attention to detail of a decorated Christmas tree and railing. In fact I brought from home the handmade stockings the children had from when they were little and hung them on the mantel. Memories to last a lifetime! THANK YOU Doug and Kathi Engler

Paradise Found

Guest: Jeanne & Michael (Houston, Texas)
Date of Stay: 05/29/09 Review Submitted: 06/08/09

We looked at Yellowstone area rentals for weeks before we found this perfect gem. The owners have gone out of their way to make this place a piece of heaven in Paradise Valley. Everything we needed was at our fingertips, and every ammenity was well thought out. The home's location was also perfect for us. Yellowstone's north entrance and the town of Gardiner were less than an hour's drive, and the town of Livingston, at 15-20 minutes away, gave us easy access to groceries, restaurants and shopping. We spent our days in Yellowstone, and then retreated to the peace and quiet of the house each evening - away from the traffic and crowds closer to the park. Each evening was spent relaxing on the patio with a cook-out, or in front of the fireplace and picture window with it's breathtaking view of the mountains. The Yellowstone River is seen from the back of the house, and it's a quick and easy walk to the river's edge. Birds, ground squirrels and mule deer were seen daily around the house. While there were just two of us this trip, the house is large enough to host a very large family, or several small ones. We wished we had brought our daughter and her family with us once we got there! This was a fantastic vacation for us, and this wonderful home was a great part of it. As we said, there are a lot of rentals in the area, but none that match this one. You will not be disappointed in the home, the location, or the views. Thank you, Tom, for a remarkable and memorable Yellowstone experience.

Tom and Bridget, Our stay in the Yellowstone House was wonderful. We traveled into the park three times and the then enjoyed the house, scenery, and Chico Springs, Livingston, etc-not enough time. We'll have to come back. We are so comfortable here. It was great your family told us about it. The guys caught fish in the river in front of the house as we girls watched the Sandhill Cranes, mule deer, osprey, bald eagles from the decks. Thanks so much The Wainwrights

What a week! Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more time in this "brilliant" (as the English say) house. It has such a wonderful feeling, is so well appointed and it's ettign says "relax." This week we went to Fairy Lake, Virginia City, and Yellowstone two days, plu rafted down the Madison River. Ate at Chico, Rockin R Bar in Bozeman and at Old Faithful Inn for our last dinner together, We also went to Chico Hot Springs and the Boiling River. Thanks Tom and Bridget for ahsring your house with us-we'll never forget it. You were always so professional and helpful. all the best, Maryann D.
