First floor, single home located close to the bay and a short walk to the beach. Walking distance to all of Margate's finest restaurants, bars, and water activities. Just a short drive to Atlantic City and Ocean City.
Recently renovated, our lovely home has ceramic tile flooring, multiple ceiling fans / air conditioners, plenty of storage, wireless internet connection and a grill for you to barbecue. Each of the two bedrooms has a full-size bed and the living room hosts a chaise couch which converts to another full-size bed for additional sleeping. The cottage comes completely furnished. Brand new landscaping, outdoor covered shower, deck, walkways and outdoor patio furniture.
We prefer families. A security deposit will reserve your winter months. A rental deposit, full payment, signed lease and signed property rules are necessary to complete the process. Personal meeting and phone screening is required.

This is my 5th summer renting this property from the same owners, Gina & James. I stumbled across it 5 years ago while looking for a rental property online and also used a realtor; this property was beyond superior to anything I found. Initially, I had no intentions of renting this long but now find that I cannot walk away and genuinely look forward to it every year. The owners could not be nicer and also could not do more to maintain the house & grounds which are beautifully designed and landscaped. When you walk through the gate, down the meandering brick path to the house, you feel as if you've entered another world and have truly escaped. I have thoroughly enjoyed the location since you are within walking distance to the beach and the best restaurants at any shore point; many people travel to Margate from other shore points just for dinner and it's in your backyard! You are also a 10 minute drive from Atlantic City, Ocean City or other shore towns that provide additional entertainment and activity throughout the year. It would be regrettable to miss out on an opportunity to rent this house, it's simply the best!

This was a wonderful little (but roomy) two bedroom cottage - very picturesque. It was well kept and Gina and her husband were both extremely attentive to my needs. Margate is a lovely community and the cottage is located on a quiet street. There is a farmers market on the weekend just around the block, and many excellent restaurants located within short walking distance. I would definitely stay again if and when the opportunity arises.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I have rented from this owner quite a few times which should testify to the property and the process... The property is really beautiful and well maintained. Landscaping on the property and the walkway will make you think you have travelled further than the Jersey shore -- pretty flowers, plants, waterfalls and lighting..... The location cannot be beat -- you are minutes to walk to the hot restaurants / bars and the marina area. Park the car and walk everywhere else. Beach is fast walk as well. This is the best location on Margate - right where you want to be. Highly recommend staying here -- beautiful property, professional owner and the best area in Margate. Property is extremely well taken care of and maintained.... the owner cares about the property/ cleanliness / overall look unlike some other rentals you may find. Wouldn't look any further....
