Beautifully furnished, decorated and maintained condo/apartment in the Sandestin Grand in Baytown Village. Full kitchen!! Beautiful view from balcony of the bay. It was quiet - couldn't hear other guests unless we were out on balcony. The other two couples who were with us loved it! We're all planning another vacation stay.

Our family (including a 3 and a 6 yr old) had such a great time at the condo. It was spacious, clean and Kathy had taken care of all of the little details. We would return without question. The lagoon-style, zero entry pool was great, and with an average depth of 3.5 to 4 feet, it was perfect for the little ones. The condo at the Grand Hotel is just a short walk to the village, which features a number of restaurants, bars and shops. The Adventure Zone at the Village was just perfect for our kids. There is a zip line (42 inches and taller) and a trampoline bungee that my 6 year old loved, and a carousel for my 3 yr old, among other attractions such as two tree houses, a huge playground, wave runners, parrots at the marina, etc. Just beyond the gates of the resort is the new Grand Boulevard, which features a convenient supermarket (Publix) and a number of restaurants and shops, including a Tommy Bahama restaurant. This outdoor mall has a great water fountain for the kids to run around in. About 6 miles from the resort, there is a much larger outdoor mall, Destin Commons, with another great outdoor fountain for the kids, and a number of additional shops and restaurants, as well as a movie theatre. For adults, there are several great restaurants and bars inside and beyond the resort walls. La Famigila (Italian) in Destin proper was spectacular, as was Sushi Moto! A must for the adults is McGuire's pub at the end of Destin near the bridge. Their ruben eggrolls were just featured on Food Networks "The Best Thing I Ever Ate..." show for a reason. Great place all around.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautifully furnished and the kitchen well supplied. Although there are so many really good restaurants in the Wharf Village that we never cooked dinner!! our favorite place was the balcony where we had breakfast and lunch every day, and then finished the evenings with drinks as the sun set. Boy, are those sunsets something!!! We really loved it. The only downside was trying to find a parking place sometimes. But we solved that by never taking the cars out!! It was a great week and we would entusiastically recommend it!!

We stayed at this property with our best friends from Alabama and loved it. In addition, the owner (Kathy) made it a true pleasure. The condo is well maintained and very clean (these are things you never know before arriving and make a difference in comfort). Easy-to-understand instructions on how to use appliances are posted. In fact, everything we needed to make our time special was already there (including extra towels). The only thing we would have liked would have been wireless internet access (there is plug-in access). The building must have incredible insulation because we never heard our neighbors (and we spent a lot of time in the unit). The view from the balcony is beautiful even though the sunset is obscured a little by another condo unit. Baytowne Village is practically right outside the building and has a few restaurants, shops (we recommend the homemade pralines at the candy store), and activities. There are numerous trails for walking (or exercising) with a view. We would recommend staying here! Thank you, Kathy!

This condo has plenty of room for all guests with three generous masters and upscale baths! It's equipped with all you need and beautifully decorated. My favorite aspect is the beautiful balcony which we enjoyed in the morning for coffee and the gorgeous sunsets! It's always a photo favorite of ours. There's so much to do all day and evening that you could actually park your vehicle and just enjoy yourself for your entire stay. We enjoyed seafood at Hammerheads, pizza, and wonderful gelato in Baytowne Wharf.. and Starbucks is available, too. It has it all and it's so nice to be able to go for a wonderful stroll through the village after dinner. Concierge is very approachable and helpful. They helped us with all our questions and business needs. This time my husband and I enjoyed a 3.1 mile jog around the circle left on the road the Grand Sandestin is on which circles around and leads you right back to the hotel and I have to say, it's the most beautiful run I've ever taken--shaded, serene, fragrant, just beautiful! The most difficult part is having to leave...you won't want to!! Trust me!! Thank you Kathy for a wonderful relaxing two days after our family wedding--we'll always remember our visit to Sandestin!

This condo was beautiful through and through with much care taken to help you know where everything was and easy to use. The owner was extremely easy to work with and the resort is top notch. You could not ask for a nicer place to stay with a great Bayside location near the Village where you can shop, eat, have a children's playground etc. We would stay again noting only two negatives, the pool was not heated for our Spring Break stay...not an issue in other seasons... and the amenity card does not give you free tennis, bike rentals, etc. but it does give you access to pay for them. Not a bad deal considering you get a much better deal than through the resort but it's good to know up front. My mistake for not being thorough in my questions.

Kathy, I just had to send you a note to let you know how very much we enjoyed your condo this past week. The unit was so well kept and the furnishings were super. The weather was perfect and we decided that this time of the year is the best to be in Destin. When we arrived on Monday I honestly believe that there weren't more than 15-20 cars in the complex. Our granddaughter had a wonderful time walking around the development and was particularly impressed with the number of lizards and birds that we could see. Oh well, needless to say we had a terrific time and appreciate the opportunity to stay in your wonderful condo. I hope we left everything in order as we regretfully had to leave on Thursday. I look forward to renting your unit again sometime in the near future. Regards, Jerry
