Welcome to our Cabin on the Lake, in beautiful New Braunfels, Texas. You have come to one of the most unique vacation spots in and around the Central Texas Hill Country. We are proud to offer our beautiful, pinewood Cabin. We have been in business in New Braunfels since 2000 and we offer what we believe will be one of your most pleasurable and memorable vacation experiences ever.
Situated on a gorgeous tree covered lakeside lot, our Cabin affords a secluded and private atmosphere only minutes from downtown New Braunfels. Our Pinewood Cabin is a one-room Cabin, built in the 1940's. It has been restored to its original condition and modernized to provide comfort and convenience while stepping back to those squeaky screen door days of yesterday's one room lake cabins. The Cabin sleeps one to six, and is the ultimate in Lakeside get-away vacations! Satisfaction is guaranteed. The Cabin is perfect for a honeymoon, a couple's get-away, a friend's weekend, or a small family vacation.
Just a note of interest, the land that the cabin is situated on has remained in my wife's family for over five generations, and was part of an original Spanish land grant of the original German immigrants to New Braunfels in 1843. The pine interior and rustic decor of the cabin, give you a sense of the past blended with the modern, and create an atmosphere of warmth, beauty and style you will not find anywhere else. Our squeaky screen doors await you.
Chris and Lisa Sacco, owners, managers, and maids!

Just returned from a lovely Texas vacation! We stayed at the little cabin on the lake and enjoyed it so much; local to everything we needed...Austin for a concert, Schlitterbaun, and Guadalupe River float. My husband and I, and our two girls spent 5 days in the cabin and loved it. We had never used a "vacation rental" before and it is superb! For a more that 2-night stay, I now wholly recommend it. The cabin owners were great and the cabin itself was just as pictured; a cute little family cabin with all the amenities on an amazing piece of real estate. Early morning coffee on the dock was wonderful.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Wow! I can't say enough about this rental. We arrived on Monday and left on a Friday and explored the area to our hearts content. By Wednesday we were calling this cabin "home" in our conversations to get back there. Even without the leaves on the trees in what you Texans call "winter" we enjoyed a sit by the lake, a BBQ out back, coffee and sunshine with the birds chirping in the morning on the front porch and opening the windows to let in the fresh air during the day. The cabin was clean and well maintained, The owners were delightful. Everything you would need was there. The bed was very comfortable. Thank you so much for the stay, hope we can come back again soon and bring family with us. If you are here to explore like were were, grab a Hill Country Texas map and follow it out to Canyon Lake, eat at the marina on the water. We were there March 1st and it was desolate depsite the 75 degree weather. Back home in WA that's what we call "SUMMER" :-) Comal Creek winery was worth the drive. Gruene was amazing. LOVED It there! Went back a few times. Eat at the Gristmill, an old cotton gin on the river, Mozie's was great for lunch, Gruene River Grill was wonderful as well with a stunning view of the sunset through the bare treetops. And of course, you can't miss Greune Dance Hall with live music every night. Quick drive to San Antonio to check out the River Walk and that just about did it for us! Can't wait for the next time we go back. Thanks again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented this cabin over Thanksgiving holidays. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Beautiful fenced lot on Lake Dunlap/Guadalupe River. Very comfortable and particularly enjoyed the back porch overlooking the water. The owners went out of their way to ensure that we had a very happy holiday. Easy access to New Braunfels and I-35. This was my first experience using HomeAway.com and thanks to the owners, it was everything that it was advertised to be.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We had the most relaxing weekend at this river-front cabin! The property has plenty of space for kids to run and find adventure with a fishing boat, dock, camp-fire, and the river itself. The cabin had everything we needed already there from cooking utensils to toilet paper. These vacation rentals can get expensive if you're looking to bring a large group. We were able to sleep 4 adults, 1 teenager, and an infant on the beds in the house, and let the other 5 children sleep outside on the fenced property in tents. It was a perfect solution for our budget. We are definitely planning another trip soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
