Located in Oconee County near the middle of Lake Keowee, Magnolia Place is located off of Knox Road and Highway 188, approximately eight miles from Seneca and Walhalla. Magnolia Place has a beautiful view of the big water and the mountain ranges.
This three-level, brick home features 7 bedrooms, five full baths, one half bath, and two separate shower rooms in additional to the great room, entertainment areas, bonus rooms and much moore. Magnolia Place was built with the vacation renter in mind and what we, our family, friends and guests would need in our home away from home.
Magnolia Place features over 5000 sq ft on three floors. The main floor has an 18 by 24 foot great room, with gas fireplace, big screen TV-65", VCR/DVD and Blu Ray player, and 22 foot ceilings. French Patio Doors lead from the great room to a 10 by 24 foot deck facing the lake. The kitchen and dining room area is 15 by 24 ft with Cherry cabinets and solid surfacing (quartz) countertops. The main area of the home features hardwood floors. (24 by 38 - kitchen, dining, and great rooms.)
The master bedrooms suite is 16 by 18 with a 6 by 12 walk-in closet and master bathroom suite 10 by 12 with whirlpool bath, large marble shower, double sink, and tile floor and 25" TV with VCR/DVD player. A 10 by 16 foot deck also sits on the lakeside of the master bedroom through French patio doors. The main level also has two additional bedrooms, bath, and laundry room.
The second floor has a loft area complete with an entertainment area for the kids with 36" TV, VCR, DVD, and room to hook up your game system. Also on the second floor are two bedroom suites off of the loft area, complete with private baths. The basement level has a walkout French patio door, with easy access to the boat dock from this level. There is one full bath, one half-bath and two separate shower rooms on the lower level. Two additional bedrooms face the lake for more enjoyment. A family room and billiard room provide extra room for entertainment and include a pool table and air hockey table and 57" TV, visible from the billiard table. All bedrooms feature a 22" TV with built in DVD player.
A large covered dock already sits in the water, with room for two extra boats to be tied up. The swim deck is 12 feet by 32 feet with eight feet uncovered and four feet covered for both plenty of sun and shade to make everyone happy. The use of the dock is free for our guests. Parking for six-eight cars is available, 2 in the garage, 4 more on main level outside the garage and additional parking behind the house for boat trailers and more.
This home will sleep a large family.(King bed in the master, queen bed in main level bedroom #2, and main level bedroom #3. Loft bedroom one has a queen bed and a single bed. Loft bedroom two has a queen bed and a full size bed. The two loft bedrooms are set up as suites with private baths. In the 2 bedrooms on the lower level, bedroom one has a queen and a single and bedroom 2 has a queen and a full size. Bedroom 2 has a private entrance to the full bath. Bedroom one sits beside the half bath. We limit the number of people to 15, even though the house will sleep more than this.
Our guests stay at Magnolia Place is complete with the cleaning service provided in the summer months. $175.00 in addition to rent in the months between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Guests are asked to leave the home in good condition with the kitchen clean. Linens and towels are available for guests use, but guests are required to launder the linens and towels if they use them. The cleaning service will take care of general cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming, and cleaning the bathrooms.

We built this home in 2004 with the vacation renter in mind. After owning another vacation rental home on the lake since 2002, we knew what our guests needed in their home away from home, so we built it for you!
The Unique Benefits of this House
You will enjoy lots of space on 3 floors, with plenty of room to spread out, yet spaces large enough to be together. Besides the great room on the main floor, there is a 12 x 40 foot deck gracing the front of the property with room for 12 to eat together. You have the evening shade to enjoy. There is an entertainment/game room and a billiard room and a family room in the basement level of the home, as well as a loft entertainment area on the second floor.

Our family has been renting this home since 2004. We have held family reunions every year since! The home is perfect for a big group. The home is designed to give everyone "space" which is needed for a week long family reunion! :) You will have access to the lake and the dock is great if you have a boat or just want to go down and swim in the lake. The owner of the home is easy to work with and very fair about working out any issues. I would grade our experience as a strong A !!!!!

This is a great home to stay in, plenty of room to spread out and plenty of room to get together. The house has all the amenities that you could ask for. It is well taken care of and the owners add something new every year to make it better. My family has stayed here every year since it was built in 2004. My grandkids say it is like coming home every year. The owners save our week for us every year. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.
