Beautiful, clean and modern, four bedroom, three bath house located on two acres in a peaceful setting along a small lake. During the day, enjoy relaxing on the 692 square foot deck, enjoy the lake or spend time at any of the nearby town beaches. The backyard offers a great setting for a reunion or simply to catch a nap in the hammock.
In the evening, take a dip in the 6 person jacuzzi/hot tub and enjoy dinner off the grill. The house features a dining room with seating for six to eight, an eat-in kitchen with seating for four, and a large living room with a fireplace and a beautiful view of the lake.
The Master suite includes it's own large bathroom, balcony overlooking the lake and a fireplace for those cool evenings.
Downstairs on the ground level we have a game room complete with 9' pool table, dart board, chess/checkers table, assorted boardgames. For those interested in fishing, our lake is fully stocked (some of the best fishing is right off our dock!).

My husband and I stayed here after a particularly difficult year as a treat to ourselves. We arrived the day after Christmas and left several days after New Year's. We baked in the sauna, boiled in the hot tub and watched the snow fall from the comfort of our bed next to the fire. We read books, watched movies we had brought with us and generally had a gloriously peaceful and romantic time!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is gorgeous property! The location was great as it was close to Hyannis Port where we went to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket from. Also, good access to Boston for coming and going. The bed configuration was perfect for our group and it was nice to have all the bedrooms together on the top floor. We didn't use the game room downstairs because we were never home long enough, but it looked great for kids or adults who want down time instead of the rush, rush, rush of travel that we did.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have rented this house several times and the memories that we have stored are unmeasureable! We always save a few days just for my husband and myself and then the family arrives and the house is large enough to accomodate the whole gang. The best thing about our favorite spot is that all we need to do is pack are our bags and the house is fully equipped with everything else that you would ever need. Tom is always ready and available to answer any questions that you might have, and if there is ever a problem it is handled very quickly and efficiently. Thank you for sharing your family house and all of your memories that are still scattered about from your childhood which makes for interesting conversations.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This is a belated thank you for our stay in your house. It was a great success for our extended family group, and we thank you for providing such a nice place. Between the comfortable living room, the kitchen facilities, the hot tub and sauna, the game room, the yard, and the wonderful location in Cotuit we were all busy and entertained. Among other outings, our trip to Sandy Neck, with surging tide and surf, and bitter winds was memorable! Payments are accepted by check or money order. A security deposit of $500 is required at the time of booking but it is not cashed unless terms of rental are not met. A first payment is expected 60 days prior and a second one 30 prior to your arrival date. When bookings are done closer to arrival time, other terms can be arranged.

About the owner: I am the mom of triplet boys. I have resumed the management of this property after, Tom Cauchon, my ex-husband and father of my children suddendly passed away. Tom loved this property so did his father so I will make my best to keep it running in honor of their memory!
Why the Owner Chose Cotuit:
Tom's father owned this house for several years before it was turned into a vacation rental. It's easy to get to the area from nearby Boston, where I live. The lake provides a peacefull setting, yet you can get to the beach and other activities on the Cape quickly. We especially enjoy going for a hike at one of the nearby conservation properties.
