HOLIDAY RAVES: "My wife and I spent a wonderful week at High Rock Cottage over the Christmas Holiday in 2006. We had plenty of room for the 6 adults and 2 children...our expectations were exceeded. The Cottage was comfortable, clean, warm, and well equipped. The living room area, with a great fireplace, was large enough to hold our Christmas celebrations. The kitchen was well equipped and enabled us to cook some large Christmas eve and day dinners. We all slept well on the comfortable beds. The location had a ocean view and it was a comfortable 15 minute walk into downtown Rockport. Jean was a pleasure to deal with. We couldn't have had a better time...we strongly recommend High Rock Cottage."

Francis and Jean Cummings live year-round in historic Concord, MA and stay at their second home, High Rock Cottage, in historic Rockport when they can. Years before we bought High Rock Cottage (the first cottage built in the area, that then was added on to), we would come up to Old Garden Beach (a five-minute walk away) and walk on the Old Garden Path (in front of the ocean-front houses). We dreamed of someday living near there. When the opportunity came, we snapped it up and are delighted to be able to stay when we can in the most beautiful area of Rockport. Several inns are located on Marmion Way to take advantage of the views, beach, cove, beautiful flower gardens, and beautiful homes. High Rock Cottage is on the Easternmost point of Cape Ann and is an exhilarating place to stay with its views and breezes from all sides. We hope to be able to stay there for decades to come.
