Aloha, and welcome to the beautiful island of Kaua'i. Situated on an oceanfront bluff, the Poipu Makai A1 is a ground floor, oceanfront two bedroom, two bath condominium with stunning views of the blue Pacific. Both the living room and master bedroom sport their own private lanais that open to a grassy lawn that spills out to the sea. You can watch dolphins and whales(in season) while you dine on your own patio, or walk down a short trail to lava outcroppings and watch sea turtles playing in the waves.
Sunsets (and sunrises) are breathtaking from the Poipu Makai. Bring your camera and keep it handy...you'll use it here!
The tropical master bedroom hosts a California King bed and a flat panel television.
Fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the rocks below. The garden view "surfin' safari" second bedroom has with two twin beds which can be joined via "bed bridge" upon request. Each of the bedrooms is completely private with its own bath.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare gourmet meals. Coffee maker, espresso maker, microwave, toaster...it's here for you. Washer and dryer provided as well. And if it's the beach you're heading for, feel free to use the boogieboards, snorkels, fins, chairs, umbrella, or ice chest. No need to waste valuable luggage space! Just bring your flip-flops and prepare to relax island-style.
And just in case you need it, we also offer high-speed internet (to send those pictures to all your relatives!).
Situated on the southernmost tip of the island, there is even a glimpse of the mysterious "forbidden" island of Nii'hau off in the distance. You can walk five minutes to two of Hawaii's best beaches, Shipwreck or Poipu. There are hiking trails within minutes, and it's just a short drive to the Spouting Horn blowhole, or the Tropical Botanical Gardens, a lovely way to get to know the beauty of Kaua'i.
