My sons and I have skiied throughout the U.S. and Canada, but it was our first time to experience Big Sky. To say the least, we were not disappointed! It is an awesome resort with huge terrain, great snow and few, if any, lift lines. And, to make it perfect, Joe and Anne's ski in and ski out home was fantastic! As others have said, it is truly a warm & inviting place with all anyone would need including a spectacular view of the ski mountain, private outdoor hot-tub and indoor dry sauna and was quiet, quiet, quiet! Joe and Anne--my sons and I thank you!

We have just returned from one of our best family vacations ever. The condo exceeded our every expectation. It was just steps from the Lodge and the Swimming Pool. The Hot Tub and Sauna were great for our sore muscles at the end of the day. The pictures and description of the condo on VRBO were totally correct. All four of us learned to ski this week and got to the point to where we could ski out the back door of the condo and get on either of two lifts approximately 30 yards and 100 yards away. You can access anywhere on either mountain starting from these lifts. Joe and Anne were super nice and even called and checked on us during the trip. They also gave us great recommendations of places to see and eat. We would certainly stay here again and my kids are ready to go back next week.
Owner response:Thank you for your kind words. We are very enthusiastic about our Montana home and try very hard to help our guests get the most out of their trip by helping them with as many local secrets as we can share. Plesae do join us again next season. Joe

We rented Joe's condo from Feb 27 - March 5, 2011. The location is perfect for access to the Moonlight Lodge and Spa with a great bar and restaurant...just about 70 ft from the condo the the Lodge door. The place was clean and in excellent condition. Parking is very close - right outside the front door. Joe is easy to reach for answers to questions, keeps in contact throughout the rental process, and goes the extra mile to create a great rapport that brings trust and confidence. Access to skiing is excellent. Put on your skis just 20 ft from the front door and ski down to the Iron Horse Lift. Coming back is easy, too, with a groomed access path. I would go back, and I would recommend the place to friends.
Owner response:I believe that our personal service is definitely one of our best qualities. Thank you for the great review.

My husband and I came to big sky with his parents and couldn't have been happier with these accomodations. The location is the best in the Moonlight Basin Area, ski in/out to Big Sky AND Moonlight Basin. Steps to the Moonlight Basin Lodge. Extremely cosy, wonderful view, very spacious, amazingly fabulous hot tub with view to kill. We especially liked that the two large bedrooms with ensuite baths were separated by the main floor, meaning both felt very private, and it was easy to get up earlier/later than the group without feeling like you were waking everyone. Perfect for two couples or a couple with older children, the second bedroom would sleep at least 5 kids. The only hiccup was rather unreliable internet service, even if we paid the $50/week fee. The winds were very high when we were there, so this may not be normal, hopefully most folks will be coming to enjoy the beauty and skiing and not be concerned with working and internet access. We LOVED this condo and would definately come back.
Owner response:I appreciate the favorable review. We will be making enhancements to the wireless network this summer.

This property was perfect for our family ski vacation. We sat every morning drinking coffee looking out onto Lone Peak just waiting for the lifts to open. We walked about 25 feet put on our skis and off we went each morning. At night we had dinner at the Moonlight lodge (about 50 feet from the Townhome) or used the shuttle service to go down to Big Sky for dinner. The Townhome was beautiful and is perfectly located for skiing. We would like to come back every year and stay here and ski the Moonlight/Big Sky resorts.
Owner response:We purchased this home with just those thoughts in mind. We wanted to be as close as possible to the ski lift and the "Montana Elegant" Moonlight Lodge. It is all about location and proximity to what you came for, skiing and luxurious dining and relaxation.

WOW! This was our 3rd trip to Moonlight and it gets better everytime. Our townhome was great to ski and board out of every morning. Mr. Messineo was always a phone call away. The home is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. It was great to have a hot tub and sauna after a day on the slopes. Can't wait to return!

Spring Skiing is the best! This was our first time to Moonlight Basin/Big Sky, MT, it was AWESOME we will be back. Saddle Ridge E-2 Townhome, has all the comforts of home and is a true ski-in/ski-out, with the lift a few feet away from your front door. Our week was full of fun! We had the ski resort to ourselves...no lift lines, few people and TONS of snow. We drove down to West Yellowstone for a 6-hour, 55-mile round trip through the Gallatin National Park... BLAST! We hit a few restaurants and shops but really enjoyed our place in the evenings...the hot tub and sauna was a nice treat especially after a long day of skiing. Anonymous, Tampa, FL

The accomodations were just wonderful! A true ski-in/ski-out, with the lift less than 100 yards away. The hot tub and the sauna are the perfect ending to a long skiing day, and the beds were very comfortable. All the amenities that you need are there, and the place was spotless (kudos to the cleaning crew). We would DEFINITELY stay here again, and can't wait to plan the next trip. One dinner recommendation would be for the The Cabin down at Big Sky. Really great food for the same prices as all the other steakhouses around.

Our family just returned home from a wonderful trip to Montana. The trip was made even more special by this terrific home. Its so close to the beautiful Moonlight Lodge that we used the Lodge every day. We used the work out facility, we swam in the heated pool then would grab a drink or dinner. Its like having the conveniences of a resort plus the space and amenities of a home. It was also our first stay at a real ski in ski out location. How great is that. The owners were responsive and helpful making things even better. VERY Highly recommended!!

We have skiied all over the country and have to say the combination of the skiing, the location and comfort of the townhome and the hospitality the owner extended was the best. Hope to do it again.

This is the second Saddle Ridge condo unit that I have stayed in over the past three years and I can say without hesitation it is a wonderful place. It is truly a skier's paradise, from the ski in/ski accomodations, the proximity of the Moonlight Lodge (literally steps away), the outdoor hot tub, the sauna to the interior furnishings, I would have been comfortable staying the entire winter. I look forward to my return trip.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was perfect! Moonlight Basin is a great place to visit year round and the condo is everything we could have hoped for! The decor is beautiful and the location on the mountain is impeccable with access to skiing or hiking, right out your front door and world class dining next door in the lodge - it doesn't get any better than this! We had a great honeymoon and will surely be back again in the winter to visit!

This place is absolutely beautiful. The scenery from the back porch is stunning and it is less than a hundred yards to the nearest lift - we can't wait to come back in the winter!

This is a wonderful place to be whether it is in the winter or the summer. I am planning to celebrate my 65th birth in June of 2008 next year. The rooms are so tastefully decorated. I will look forward to coming to the state of Montana.
