This four bedroom, two and a half bath home is the perfect place for an old fashioned family vacation at the beach. Harvey Cedars was selected as the New Jersey beach to visit for those looking for what beach resorts were like in the 1950's. And it was ranked as one of the top five family beaches in the USA by "National Geographic Traveler Magazine".
You can expect a quiet, family-oriented environment with weekly outdoor concerts and family events planned throughout the summer.
Chief's Retreat is only six houses from the beach- on the bay side of Long Beach Boulevard. The house is one of the original island homes, and has been updated with all of the modern amenities including central air-conditioning and wire-less high speed internet access.
The house has three floors, making it ideal for multi-family vacations. The first floor has a master bedroom with a sitting area and a full bathroom. The main floor has a comfortable living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room with a double futon, a bedroom (queen-size bed), and a full bath. The upper floor has a half bathroom and two bedrooms- one with two twin beds and the other with a twin and a trundle bed.
To ensure that your vacation is complete, we also provide a large crab pot and an outdoor gas burner to cook your crabs or lobsters. Special amenities also include plenty of lawn furniture, use of two kayaks, beach chairs, rafts, and a sun umbrella. An outside shower is located in back.

A little rustic but a great location being close to the beach and easy drive to many of LBI's restaurants and activities. Plenty of room and amenities. If your in to steaming clams, they have the pot and heater. Would definitely come back.
Recommended for:Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.
