Take a stroll on the shore or just rusticate on the large covered porch and enjoy views of the harbor. Sail the waters of beautiful Penobscot Bay or kayak along nearby coves and islands. Lessons and charters may be arranged.
Beautifully designed and crafted with careful attention to detail, "Shell Cottage" offers features uncommon in most vacation homes. The first floor is handicap accessible with open living and dining rooms, an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, a large bedroom with twin beds, a full bath with walk-in shower and laundry closet. The second floor has a large bedroom with a queen-size bed, a full bath with claw-foot tub, and an open loft living area with a daybed and trundle. The two story stone chimney, floating spiral staircase, vaulted ceilings and abundant period windows lend an air of casual, light-filled summertime living.
