If you are looking for a place to get-a-way from all the hustle and bustle of everyday living, you have just found it. Brevard is a great small town nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina. For a small town, Brevard is steeping in culture.
World renowned Brevard Music Center holds events and concerts throughout the summer months. The Paul Porter Center of Brevard College also offers extensive musical entertainment. On the lighter side, street festivals and restaurants abound in downtown Brevard.
Transylvania County, where Brevard is located, is over 50% State and National Forest. Thus, outdoor options abound as well. Hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting and horse back riding are just a few of the activities you can find,in fact, there's a horse corral on the property for your use if needed. Located only 15 minutes from downtown Brevard, our cottage is tucked into the woods, bordered by Gorges State Park.
You will enjoy listening to the creek that fills our small pond on the property while also watching birds and bunnies from the front deck. We ask that you don't fish from the pond, however, we welcome you to fish the creek and enjoy your catch. This mountain get-a-way has been totally remodeled inside, with new floor coverings, new paint, and new furniture for you to come and relax and enjoy. Everyone that has stayed has loved it. They are recommending it to family and friends, and cannot believe the "wonderful setting". Two wonderful porches to sit and relax, the porch on the back you can watch and listen to the creek.
