Beautiful piece of property that backs up to Smoky Mountain park property. No back yard or side neighbors!! The privacy is second to none!!
Incredible views from every porch (front, back and screened in side porch with jacuzzi)... without feeling like you're falling off a mountain. On almost two useable acres and county maintained roads!!
If it snows, the kids can sled ride right outside the basement door. If its sunny, the kids can play games on the level area in the front yard.
The main level consists of a queen bedroom with in room stone jacuzzi, family room with a stone wood burning fireplace, dining room and kitchen. The cabin is decorated with antiques, bears, deer and lots of items unique to the area.
The cabin is equipped with videos, vcr/dvd players, board games, books, fooseball table and Playstation 2 games (all rated E for everyone). The cabin has three bedrooms (one king, one queen and a great kids room in the basement with a log bunkbed and a log twin bed with a trundle).
The loft king bedroom is decorated with old Smoky Mountain maps and bears. Wake up each morning to a beautiful view of the mountain directly behind the cabin. The loft also has its own bathroom with a shower and tub.
The queen room also has a log bed and has a unique stone jacuzzi in the room!!! Great room for mom and dad or grandma and grandpa. This room is decorated with bears, deer and moose. Many windows provide great cross ventilation to feel the cool mountain breeze through the windows or just enjoy the sounds of nature.
The basement is the kids haven...wide screen tv, videos, Playstation 2, books, board games and lets not forget the great bedroom with a log bunkbed and log twin trundle bed and a full bath and laundry. The downstairs is decorated with old signs, sleds, ski's and many other treasures unique to the area. Too cute!!
The cabin is located on county maintained roads that are convenient to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and tubing in Townsend without all the traffic and noise!! The cabin is also conveniently located near the lesser back entrance to the Smokies which takes you into Metcalf Bottoms (great trails, swimming holes, fishing, wildlife viewing, etc...).
Sit on the back porch and watch wild turkeys, deer, geese, and cows visiting the water hole behind the cabin. Once you walk in the front door, you'll know you're DUN ROVIN!!!
Main Floor: Open living room/dining/kitchen combination with vaulted ceilings, 32- inch television with VCR, wood burning fireplace, queen log bed with in room stone jacuzzi and separate bath.
Upstairs Loft: King log bed with adjoining separate bath.
Downstairs: Great room with 50 inch large screen television with vcr, lots of books, movies and board games, awesome fooseball table, Playstation 2, bean bags, full bath, washer and dryer, bedroom with American Signature Home Camp Granada log twin bed with trundle, and a RockyTop log bunkbed.
Porches/Decks: long covered porches (front and back) with swings and rockers, charcoal grill; screened-in side porch with jacuzzi and outdoor furniture for extra living space. All porches have incredible views!!!
