Follow the winding wooded pathway down the hillside to your retreat nestled on the shores of Micajah Pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This wonderfully cozy cottage sleeps 4 to 5 people. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the sleeping porch just off the master has two twin beds and the living room sofa pulls out for an additional queen bed. High ceilings, sky-lights and natural pine wood walls all contribute to the rustic charm of this little gem.

This cottage is peaceful and quiet. It is perfect for couples and families who don't want all the noise that come with motor boats and jet skis. Motors are not allowed on this pond. We provide a kayak and life jackets (in all sizes).

The large upper deck has a beautiful view of the water and smaller lower deck is at waters edge. The upper deck and small yard are fenced and gated to help keep small children from wandering down to the water without an adult.

This is a great little hide-a-way in America’s hometown. Plymouth is a town with many attractions and historic sights. The cottage is only two miles from downtown and beaches. Downtown Plymouth is located on the waterfront and has some great antique shops and many restaurants. Some local tourist attractions include Plymouth Rock, The Mayflower II and Plymouth Plantation.

The time we spent at Crooked Pine was the most delightful vacation. We'll cherish the memories! Just sitting on the deck, watching the sun come up over the pond, and, the most glorious rainbow, were just a few of the wonderful experiences! It's just so peaceful and tranquil there and the close proximity to Plymouth and the Cape make it an ideal vacation spot!Thank-you, Bridget & Carl,we look forward to our return!

We spend a wonderful week at the cottage with my sister and her husband. We loved the deck and spent time fishing, watching the turtles & just enjoying the view. We even built a campfire a few nights and made s'mores with the ingredients that Bridget left for us. We loved that the cottage is close to so many things to see and enjoy, and we could come "home" each night to enjoy the cottage. The Ceci and Bowie Families Brighton, MI & Oil City, PA

Along with our 12 year old grandaughter we just enjoyed a week's stay at Crooked Pine Cottage. We had a great time kayaking, swimming and fishing on the pond and enjoyed BBQ's on the deck. We did day trips to Boston, which was very nice and also Cape Cod, where we enjoyed the beach. The weather was really nice, just one storm overnight. We were sorry to leave. One week is not enough!

My husband and I, and our 5-yr-old daughter and 2 yr-old son enjoyed a two week vacation at Crooked Pine cottage! We were so greatful that everything was childproofed, as that is a main concern for us when choosing a private vacation rental. Too boot, there were toys and books and muffins left for us! Of course, besides safety, Crooked Pine had so much more to offer! We loved kayaking, swimming, blueberry picking along the dirt paths, cookouts while watching the sun set from the huge rustic porch, and playing lite bright when it was just dark enough to! We also loved the location of Crooked Pine cottage, nestled in the woods down a dirt road, yet just miles away from shopping in the nation's most famous historical town of Plymouth. As a matter of fact, while in town once, we witnessed a procession of Pilgrims marching through town! Thank-you for allowing us to add Crooked Pine cottage to our chest of fond memories!

We stayed at crooked pine cottage for one blissful month. We enjoyed the beautiful location of the cottage on the water and in the woods. Although rustic, the cottage had everything we needed, and we fished, swam, went out in boats and inflatables, built campfires and listened to the wind through the trees. A great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. Our kids had fun fishing in the lake each day, and it was a good location for day trips to Boston and Cape Cod. A great place for a family vacation.
