Best ski water on Norris Lake

We have stayed in many homes on Norris Lake and this property is our favorite. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The yard and slope of the property made it a great place for the kids to run around which is hard to find on Norris. It was an easy walk back and forth to the dock. The water was the best ski water we have ever had on Norris. We taught two children to ski right from the dock and all spent many hours skiing right outside the home because the water was so calm and not crowded. We cooked many great meals in the well equipped kitchen and beautiful grill. We hope to return next summer.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Perfect! The house, the location, the view - you really couldn't ask for more. I agree 100% with all of the other reviews; they are still true. It's been a couple weeks since we were there, and we still can't stop talking about the wonderful time we had. We are definitely coming back!! There is no doubt you will enjoy yourself at El Lou Casa.

A great get-a-way for our whole family! We spent labor day with my parents, my brother's family and our family at El Lou Casa. It is a perfect setup for large gatherings. We loved being able to look out to the dock from the house. The yard was huge and beautiful - - great for yard games, s'mores at the fire pit, or a rock on the porch. Dock was perfect for fishing, swimming and boating. We loved getting to teach the kids to waterski in the quiet cove without much boat traffic. Beautiful Sunsets and views. Game room was perfect for the kids. Boat ramp is super close, so you don't get lost looking for your rental from the water! Super communication from owner in advance so we could plan for meals, shopping, boat ramp, etc. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us!!

We spent a week at El Lou Casa in June, and everything was absolutely wonderful. We had 4 adults and 3 children and we still had plenty of space. The house is gorgeous and very comfortable. Our kids very much enjoyed swimming and fishing in the lake. The view from the back porch is beautiful. You could sit there all day and not do anything else and still have a wonderful time. We loved it so much, we are already planning to visit again in June 2008.

We brought the family (5 adult children and 4 grandkids) and the house was just perfect for all of our needs. The layout of the kitchen and dining room made it a favorite gathering place. We enjoyed the back porch and playing off the dock. It was towards the end of June and even the weather had to cooperate. It was a lovely visit and the family is already planning for next year. Absolutely Recommend! We loved our stay at the El Lou Casa house. The home is beautiful and roomy, with spectacular views. (Love the back porch with the view of the lake and the mountains) It is located in a very peaceful neighborhood. The lake traffic is low, which makes it nice to swim down at the dock. "ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND" Just got back from our stay at the El Lou Casa house and we absolutely loved our stay. The house is so roomy, with some spectacular views. The neigborhood is so quiet. There is low boat traffic which made it nice to swim around the dock. We hope to get to stay here again. The McKinney's Huntington WV

We visited this wonderful home the first week of August and truly enjoyed it! A spectacular view of the mountains and lake from most rooms in the house. What an awesome place, with more than enough room for children and adults. We loved our time there and plan on returning.

We spent part of the last week of July at your house and had a wonderful time. The privacy, the view, the layout of the house - all perfect. The kids had a great time swimming in the cove and using the paddleboat. My husband was ecstatic at the glasslike water for his slalom skiing. We especially appreciated the large open kitchen area and huge pantry. We'll definitely be back.
