This lovely, beachfront duplex in the South End of Ocean City is both spacious and affordable. The 52nd Street beach is a wide beach, so you will not be crowded. You can relax and enjoy sun, water, and ocean breezes.
This nicely decorated, non-smoking, vacation home sleeps eight. An open floorplan with lots of windows allows light and air to move well through the living room, dining room, kitchen, and breakfast bar. The large deck is furnished and provides panoramic views of the ocean, beach, dunes, sunrise, and even Atlantic City in the distance to the North. The ice cream trucks stop regularly, ringing their bells at the 52nd Street beach stairs.
The master bedroom is furnished with twin beds on a king headboard, which can be made up as a king or two twins. The master bedroom has an adjoining full bathroom. The next largest bedroom has two twin beds. The final bedroom has a queen-size bed. A queen-size sofabed can be made up in the living room. All bedrooms come with ample closet space and two windows. Tenants must supply their own bed linens, table linens, toweling, and blankets. With two full bathrooms, cleaning up after a day at the beach is easy. One bathroom offers a tub, making toddler clean up time just that much easier. The enclosed, outdoor shower with hot water is great for washing off sand before coming inside.
Ocean City is a beautiful friendly family resort town that has all the amenities for a fun filled vacation. From the boardwalk to the golf course to the beach, this is a tourist friendly town that guarantees something for everyone!
South End, Ocean City, usually considered anywhere south of 34th Street, is the least commercial part of town. While there are a few snack bars, a few small casual restaurants, a small grocery, and a great ice cream shop on 55th St., the area is primarily residential. At the end of the island, beyond 59th St. is a protected part of the island, stretching to Corson's Inlet that is actually a state park.
