This cabin was perfect for me. Well stocked and organized. Beautiful views and wild life literally out the back door. The proximity to all the amazing hiking was perfect, never drove more than 20 minutes. For the short drive and serene setting I will definitely return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: We are so happy to hear the cabin fit your needs perfectly! We do hope you will return to take advantage of the great summers in the area of the cabin. Thanks so much!

Location perfect with amazing views of the back side of Pikes Peak. Very comfortable with everything you need especially in the kitchen. Really don't need the heaters as the fireplace kept the cabin warm. We'll be back for sure. Thank you Sharon and Tony.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: It is so good to learn you enjoyed your stay and that you will be back! Certainly keeping a roaring fire going keeps you warm, but is so cozy and super ambience. And the views are hard to beat. Thanks so much for the great review. We look forward to a return visit from you.

This cabin is an absolutely wonderful place to get away from the world for awhile! It is inviting and comfortable with so many extras provided. The views from the balcony are breathtaking--much more so than can be shown in the pictures. Inside and out, it is everything described and more. Sharon was great to work with--she even called to check that we had everything we needed. We are already looking forward to our next visit to this charming cabin!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: We so appreciate the wonderful comments on the cabin and your stay. We can't wait to hear from you for a return trip booking! Thanks again.

My husband and I wanted a nice relaxing getaway and this place fit the bill. The cabin is nicely stocked with everything you need to cook and relax. It is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The bed was a bit harder than I like; but that's just a personal preference. We went to Woodland Park a couple of times to go to Starbuck's and the grocery store. The area is very quiet and, overall, we had a good time.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Thank you for the kind review. We are happy Altitude with Attitude fit the bill of your need of a nice and relaxing getaway and was well stocked with everything you needed. And you got "spring in winter" weather as a bonus!

The cabin was very warm and inviting. The decor was awesome! We didn't have to provide firewood which was a first and didn't have to spend hours cleaning up because that was provided. The tv had many channels and plenty of dvd's to view. We loved it. We have stayed at other cabins but this one by far was the best. We definitely will be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and managed to stay warm in the frigid temperatures! It is important to us that our guests enjoy their time at our little diamond in the rough so it's so good to hear about your visit. We do hope you can return when the temperatures are warmer and you can spend some time outside. Thanks for the great review.

We just had the opportunity to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary at Altitude with an Attitude. I must say we wanted everything to be perfect for such a special occassion. We were not disappointed!! Sharon was so very accommodating and patiently answered all of our questions beforehand. She even called our first evening there to make sure everything met with our satisfaction. The cabin was decorated so nice, was well stocked and very very clean! The balconey faces Pikes Peak so we were able to watch fireworks from the top of Pikes Peak on New Year's Eve!! Such an amazing get-a-way!! We hiked all around the property and on trails, took tons of pictures and enjoyed the deer that were around the cabin several times throughout the day. We also kept a fire going in the wood burning stove and watched the snow fall outside! We have already recommended this cabin to all our friends and relatives and want to go back ourselves! Thank you, Toney and Sharon for helping make our 20th anniversary perfect!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife, our dog, and I rented Altitude with Attitude for Christmas 2012. In a word: perfect. What a fantastic, quiet retreat from the tourist saturated insanity of summit county, exactly what we wanted. Other that daily walks/hikes, we literally didn't leave the coziness of the cabin or see anyone else for 3 1/2 days. Kitchen was excellent. Perfectly equipped for preparing big christmas meals. The stove was great ambience and kept us comfortable. The satellite TV was great as well for watching christmas movies... On that note, while the bedroom was great, we actually ended up sleeping on the pull out in the living room. It is the most comfortable pull out I've ever slept on. Sharon was great, Very accommodating and transparent in her communications. We talked about making a habit of coming down from Denver every 6 weeks or so. It was one of the most relaxing times I've had in Colorado. Thanks!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your holiday as well as the cabin. Our guests comfort is always so important to us so we loved hearing ya'll were really comfy during your stay. We look forward to hosting many more visits for you as a getaway from the big city. Thanks again.

This was our third stay at this beautiful cabin and every stay has been wonderful ! Sharon and Tony are very easy to work with, and they keep the cabin in amazing shape. There was a light dusting of snow when we arrived, and we liked seeing the deer, rabbit, fox, and other tracks in the snow. We had a great buffet lunch at the Wildwood Casino in Cripple Creek and went on a ghost tour in town on Saturday night. It was interesting and fun ! The volunteers at the Jail Museum and at the Visitor Center in Cripple Creek were extremely nice and knowledgeable, and they love dogs too :) . The cabin is comfortable and contains everything you might need for an enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this cabin !! Also, we have Verizon smartphones , and we had cellular service and internet access here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We had the most relaxing time staying in Altitude with Attitude. The cabin had everything we needed to set up "home' for a week. We were so pleased with the cabin's charm and comfort. Sharon is so very good to make sure guests are welcomed and comfortable. The Aspens' colors were breathtaking, the cool mornings refreshing and the location perfect. Just far enough from towns and neighbors to be peaceful, but with close access to exciting destinations like Florissant Fossil Bed National Monument, Cripple Creek and Victor (American Eagle Overlook),and Manitou Springs. Our lab loved his walks in the mountains and snoozes on the deck. It was hard to leave!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We are so happy to hear the whole family enjoyed your stay. Knowing there was hesitation on your part to come after the devastating fires of early summer, we are really pleased to hear it was a great trip! Thanks for the great review and we hope you all can return again soon.
