  Après un accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires, nous avons pu profiter pleinement de notre séjour à Aix-en-Provence grâce à la localisation en plein centre ville. Nous pouvions en plus garer la voiture dans la propriété (ainsi pas de problème pour stationner en ville). La maison était très agréable et confortable, avec un joli jardin. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ces vacances et de la gentillesse des propriétaires, nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir et le recommanderons à nos amis.

  We stayed at this beautiful house in April 2012 and absolutely loved it! The house is stunning and we particularly enjoyed being able to walk easily into the central markets and shop or simply wander the streets of the old town. The house house been renovated to a very high standard and the location is second to none. We stayed for a week but wish that it was longer. We would love to return one day and stay again. If you are travelling to Aix stay here. You will not be disappointed! Ben & Kylie Australia

  We spent a week here at the end of August and loved every minute of it. The owners are charming and helpful. They even provided food to get us started! The house is fully modern, but with an old world charm. Their taste is exquisite - down to the last detail. It literally feels newly done over - they are obviously meticulous people. The house is sunny and bright with every convenience. The yard is a delightful haven with lovely outdoor furniture for both lounging and eating. It is directly across the street from the Vendome which you walk through to get to town - only a 3 minute walk. There is a super market right down the street and a lovely wine shop steps from the house. All this with parking - makes this the perfect city/country place from which to explore all of Provence. I am hoping to ome back soon which is my highest compliment! Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home!

  My wife and I had chosen this holiday home because we have a young son and we wanted something enclosed with a garden. We weren't disappointed as the garden was great and the outside space allowed him to play in the shade of the trees surrounding the house. Another aspect of the house we liked was the fact that it was very close to the centre of Aix and also local shops. Finally, the house itself was very comfortable and the air-con was delightful when the weather was very hot.

  We spent a fabulous month here in July 2012. The house was as described and the owners were very helpful and accommodating. It is a big house with plenty of space right near the old part of town. It means you can easily walk to a different restaurant every night!! We made it a base for our adventures to the many great sights....venturing to Monte Carlo, Italy, plus all the local Provence highlights. There was only four of us but room for more....a very relaxing place to stay. We have a travel blog that tells you about the places we visited while staying here but it seems Homeaway don't allow us to tell you about that because it is promoting another web site...sorry. buckgw

  We have stayed in many holiday cottages in France and this is up there with the best. A traditional french home (old doors, tiles, fireplaces, shutters) has had a very stylish makeover, with ultra-modern windows, bathrooms and kitchen. It is just across the road from the Pavillon Vendome - walk through the lovely gardens and you are soon in the centre of ancient Aix. The house is on the inner ring-road of Aix, but set back behind another property and surrounded by trees, so the noise is nothing unusual for city-centre living. The gardens are great and very private. The photos do not really show how much space there is, inside and out. As the house is lived in by Cat and family during term time there is absolutely everything you could need. Dealing with Cat about the bookings was very easy. Her charming mother met us when we arrived and had provided a fridge of food to ensure we didn't starve. Aix itself is, of course, sublime. A fountain at every turn, beautiful architecture, and all walkable. The markets are a must. Do try and get concerts for the many events in the festivals. The Cezanne workshop and house are well worth a visit. Andrew Phillips and family, Somerset, UK

  C’est une jolie maison, en retrait de la rue, entourée d’un jardin plein de charme. Le bruit de la circulation est assez présent à l’extérieur (remarque à relativiser car, habitant dans une zone résidentielle exempte de tout bruit, nous sommes peu accoutumés aux bruits de la ville !). La maison a été rénovée et est aménagée avec goût. Nous avons été accueillis avec chaleur et simplicité par la mère de la propriétaire. Les propriétaires avaient gentiment laissé quelques vivres pour notre arrivée. La maison est idéalement située, à 5 minutes à pied du centre historique d’Aix, des commerces et d’un supermarché. On peut ainsi « oublier » sa voiture quelque temps. En bref, nous avons tout apprécié !

  La maison est très bien située au centre d'Aix-en-Provence. 5 minutes à pied Place Richelme. Supermarché à coté. Le Pavillon Vendôme (joli parc) en face. Tout de même, très jolie gardin avec très beaux arbres qui donne l'impression d'être en campagne. Parking voiture au terrain. La maison est très bien equipée, tout nouveau, très belle cuisine avec tous ce qu'il faut. Le style de la maison est fantastique. Dans tous les chambres on a l'impression d'être dans le jardin à cause des très grandes fenêtres. Les locataires sont très sympatiques, l'acceuil était cordiale.

  Maison très bien équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût, style épuré. Pratique, la chambre d'enfant communique avec celle des parents si on le désire. Le jardin est agréable. Beaucoup de clarté à l'intérieur de la maison grâce aux nombreuses fenêtres. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et serviables. Détail non négligeable et non mentionnée dans l'annonce, la maison se situe juste en face d'un joli jardin (du pavillon Vendôme) etd'un aire de jeux. Tout est accessible à pied en quelques minutes, le centre ville, les supermarchés, une bonne cave à vin... Bref, location idéale !
