What a wonderful stay! Connie and Chris are great hosts. The breakfasts will hold you thru supper and the accomodations on the beach are great. There is a LOT of privacy, however if the house next door gets rented you lose some. The lots on the other side are vacant, so not many people to bother you there. Remember before you book to understand that this is C/O friendly. If you've never tried it this might be the place to make it your first. Thanks Connie for the great vacation!

My wife and I spent 3 nights with Chris and Connie 03/04 - 03/07. Dolce Vita is a beautifully landscaped place to stay. The setting is very conducive to relaxing and passing the time. The beach is rough here and there but is still a good walking beach. It was too windy/chilly when we were there to check out the snorkeling but I here it's nice. Chris and Connie were great hosts helping us arrange for a rental car, advising on places to eat and things to do. I would recommend Dolce Vita for anyone looking for a homey place to stay near Tulum at the beach.

We stayed at Villa Dolce Vita in early February of 2010. Chris and Connie could not have been better hosts. What an ideal location. Take the shoes off and get right to the hammock on the beach. Grab a book, and leave only to go grab food at Don Cafeto's in Tulum. An ideal vacation. Will definitely be back.

We just spent the most wonderful week at Villa Dolce Vita. Connie & Chris are so attentive to any needs you might have. The villa is spotless, the beach is beautiful and the grounds are immaculate. As everyone else has commented, the breakfasts are superb. This is definitely a location one would think to return to. We couldn't be more pleased.

We are a family of four (two small children) and were delighted at the warm treatment we received from our hosts Connie and Chris. They are very knowledgable about the area and have great taste in restraunts! They'll point you in the right direction until you feel like a native of the area. The breakfasts are, as everyone writes, wonderful. Absolutly delicious. The grounds are kept beautiful and you may spend a day doing nothing more than laying on the beach. Good snorkling, nice and private but close enough to markets to keep even a nervous mother satisfied. We would recommend Dolce Vita to anyone wanting to experience a less touristy version of the Mayan Riviera.

We both stayed at this bed and breakfast after many years of searching for the "right" kind of clothing optional experience. we could not have made a better choice. Connie and Chris were excellent hosts and we were served the best breakfasts every morning. The solitude on this beach is outstanding. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and drop off of the face of the earth for a few days, there is not a better place to do it than Villa Dolce Vita. We will definately be back. If you cannot reconnect with a loved one at this place, something is seriously wrong. We have never been on a vacation where we felt so relaxed and yet felt like young kids again. Connie and Chris, we thank you very much for an excellent experience. It is very comforting to know that we have our own little place in paradise to escape to. Can't wait to get back to the "point"!!!

We stayed April 18-25, 2007. We loved our stay! Chris & Connie are wonderful hosts. The food was great and our room was wonderful. Very private beach, wonderful snorkelling, close to all kinds of great activities and to Tulum. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We were guests at Chris and Connie's in April and had a great time. It was our first experience of clothing optional and the weather, company, facillities and surroundings made it very memorable. We'd love to go back and plan to soon.

We were at the Villa for 6 days in mid May. Our visit could not have gone better or been more pleasant! As others have noted, Connie and Chris are fantastic hosts and are able to provide tons of information on things to do (or avoid) in the area. The room was very comfortable and while there was air conditioning, we never used it. We also never saw a mosquito or any other offensive insect. This was our first clothing optional experience and it could not have been better! It took a day or so to adjust but we're hooked! We snorkeled at Hidden Worlds at Connie's suggestion and had a great experience. The snorkeling at the reef by the villa was the best I have ever experienced (and it was free). We also took in the ruins at Tulum but spent much of our time simply lounging and reading, either on the beach or at the pool. We also had some very good dinners and had a fantastic time getting to know the other couple visiting at the same time. We had some concerns about the food and water but followed Connie's advice (eat and drink whatever you want) and had absolutely no problems. If you are looking for a relaxing romantic get-a- way I don't know that you could find a better place than the Villa. If you have questions I would be happy to try and answer them. What can we say? This was our second time at Dolce Vita and it was as wonderful as the first. Connie and Chris are exemplary hosts and friends. Chris' breakfasts are delicious! In fact I now make one of them at home and everyone just loves it. Every time we meet and make new friends. We all seem to have something in common and end up socializing together. Dolce Vita is a truly relaxing place. We love to relax in the lounge chairs, read, nap and enjoy the clothing optional. I hope we can return next year!

Dolce Vita is simply a slice of paradise! Connie and Chris are magnificent hosts that have graciouslyopened their beautiful home to people who arrive as strangers and depart as friends! The rooms areimmaculate and well furnished. Your day can start out watching a breathtaking sunrise which is soonfollowed by a gourmet breakfast prepared by Chris.Connie is extremely gregarious and will educate and entertain you with numerous conversationsof their lovely home and the surrounding area. Connie and Chris easily relieved any anxieties we had in exploring the surrounding area despite our ignorance of Spanish. This was the best anniversary Rosemary and I have ever had and can’t wait until next year when we intend tomake it a longer stay, rent a car and hopefully learn a little Spanish! ;o)

We had a great time on our second visit. You guys do an amazing job. You have an eye for detail for everything you do. Nothing is lacking. Anything that needs attention is fixed immediately. The rooms and the pool and the beach are all perfect. Every meal is planned out for the day and even how it relates to yesterday’s meal so there can be variety. I don’t think there could be a bed and breakfast anywhere in the world that is better. You guys are like the song “Nobody Does It Better”. Keep up the good work. I am sure we’ll be back soon. Thanks for all the B&B TLC while we were there.

We would like to thank all of our guests who have written such wonderful comments about their stays with us. It is overwhelming and so gratifying to see how opening our doors to others has brought such enjoyment and pleasure into their lives. You all came as strangers and left as friends. And it is our sincere pleasure to welcome so many of you back. All of your comments are taken to heart and make us all the more determined to make the Villa as appealing and satisfying as possible.

What a wonderful experience. Chris and Connie are wonderful hosts! They were very helpful in getting booked for scuba diving and had pointers for the tourist attractions. (And the great places where to shop!) The breakfasts were a great way to start out the day. The room, pool, beach and palapa hammock chairs were wonderful. You can snorkle out to the reef just off shore; pick up shells, or do nothing at all. We were close to everything without having to be in the middle of the resort chaos. We have already booked for next year. A great combination of beach, waves, sun and relaxation.

Our stay here was something special. We can't remember a vacation so relaxing. As soon as you enter through the gates, you know you're somewhere special. As nice as their website is, it just doesn't capture the beauty and intimacy. Connie and Chris are wonderful hosts and just seem to anticipate your every need and genuinely enjoy sharing their bit of paradise. Anything your heart desires---massages on the beach, a dive trip, a shopping expedition----just ask Connie and Chris and they'll set it up for you. The best part is the way everyone socializes and becomes friends. It's just so comfortable. Yes, the breakfasts are superb and the beach and gardens perfectly manicured. But there is a special, intangible quality that makes your stay memorable. An alluring blend of intimacy, relaxation and romance. It was like being on a second honeymoon. We don't see how we could ever go back to a resort. We've never gone to a vacation destination more than once, but that was before we stayed at the villa. Best way to sum it up is we booked our next stay before we left. That's how good it is. Thank you for a special, special vacation.

At the risk of sounding redundant here, the villa is truly special as are the hosts Chris & Connie. It is so obvious they truly enjoy what they're doing and its not just a job. From moment one you feel welcome and at ease. This is what a bed and breakfast is all about. The villa itself is stunning. The breakfasts under the palapa looking out over the ocean are extraordinary atmosphere-wise and food-wise. Every day a different breakfast, one better than the next and the breakfast conversations are lively and entertaining. The beach is perfectly manicured, as are the gardens. Everything is spotless. So private and relaxing.... I can't say enough good things about our stay, except that we booked our stay before we left and the other couple there the same time as us did the same. We've done a lot of traveling over the years and stayed in everything from 5 star hotels to huts and our stay at Dolce Vita ranks as just about the best vacation we've had. The atmosphere, the way everyone interacts, the genuine warmth and friendliness of the hosts. It was like a reunion with long-lost friends. A special vacation at a special place with special hosts. Truly wholeheartedly recommended.

Simply the best place to stay in the Yucutan. Fabulous owners and a fantastic laid back property. Breakfasts were excellent and many great restaurants are a short drive away. Connie and Chris are a great source of information on the area as well as great company at the Villa. They even accompanied us and the other guests out for dinner on more than one occasion and we all had a great evening. The beach and pool area are very private-- no more than 4 or 5 people would pass in the course of the whole day!! Very highly recommended!!! In fact we rebooked before we checked out!

Nicest, most relaxing vacation ever. No need to go anywhere except for your evening meals and there are lots of places to eat in Tulum although we did find a favorite. Gourmet breakfasts were served daily by our delightful hosts Chris and Connie. Beautiful beach and almost deserted, not one hotel on the whole bay! We met interesting and very nice people on our stay and enjoyed Chris and Connie's company immensely. We highly recommend to anyone interested in relaxation and privacy. The villa is immaculate and adorned with beautiful flora. I recommend driving there during daylight...private joke, we got lost driving at night.

Our best vacation in Mexico yet. The villa is magnificent. Completely private and quiet with all the creature comforts and beautifully decorated. Terrific area for lounging or sunning around the pool and the beach and gardens are manicured to the n-th degree. Spectacular ocean view every morning while eating breakfast. Chris is a terrific cook. Connie and Chris are the nicest hosts you'll ever want to meet and a heck of a lot of fun. Very special personal touches with everything they do. We already booked our next vacation...the villa is very popular and we wanted to be sure there was room. A true gem and not to be missed.

Undoubtedly our best vacation in Mexico yet. The villa is amazing and extremely private and quiet. The gardens and beach are perfectly manicured. Chris and Connie are gracious hosts and among the nicest and most interesting people you'd ever want to know. The breakfasts are fantastic and served under the palapa with a georgeous view of the ocean. Every day the breakfast is different. The villa has every creature comfort and is beautifully decorated. Is that cold beer waiting in your fridge ever good! What a nice touch. Can't say enough good things except we booked our next trip while still there. The villa is very popular and books up quickly.

What an amazing place. We had a great time and likely the most relaxed two week holiday I have ever been on. Connie and Chris are living out everybodys American dream running their own bed and breakfast in Mexico. What a fun couple who totally looked after every need we had. Go with a partner, and another couple you know if possible. We were lucky, we met a great couple Steve and Cathy who were just like us on our second week. We personally loved the clothing optional concept that allowed me a great tan with no lines. Be sure you have a car so yo can come and go at will. It's a great value and I totally reccomend it if you like piece and quite and fabulous hosts.

Wow ... Can't say enough good things about Villa Dolce Vita. Connie and Christine were an absolute hoot, as well as wonderful hosts and the place was even better than their web site made it appear. We made new friends, Bill and Dianna, our casita mates and so much enjoyed our tequilla inspired laughs and stories around the pool and under the palapa. Thanks for all the fun guys! For those wanting the luxury of a private villa at bed and breakfast prices, look no further. We can't wait to go back.

Georgeous...even better than their website shows. Gracious and most personable hosts. Wonderful touch having cold beer and soda waiting for you when you arrive. Gourmet breakfasts. Spotlessly clean. The caretaker does such a slendid job cleaning the beach each morning, you don't want to walk on it to mess it up with footprints. Wonderfully private pool and sunning area. We're coming back....no doubt about it.
