CradleCrest is a well-furnished, well-equipped, mountain vacation rental cabin that provides rental accommodations for up to six people (Additional space is available for larger groups). It is located in a quiet and peaceful section of the north Georgia mountains, about a mile from downtown Clayton, GA. Enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains in an environment offering total relaxation.
Clayton is centrally located for easy and convenient access to all of the attractions from Asheville, NC, to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN, to Helen, GA, to Cherokee, NC, as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Rates are $65/night, Year-Round; Minimum of 2 Nights.
There is a Maid Service Fee of $60 added to the total.
$100 Deposit will secure reservation & will be applied to total rent.
Cancellation notice - at least one week ahead of arrival date for full refund.

FROM THE HAND WRITTEN GUESTBOOK at CradleCrest: This was a wonderful location for enjoying May Day. We hiked the Forrest Cove Trail in Rabun Gap (Just off Patterson Gap Road, park by the creek). The Trillium were out in large numbers. A rainy Saturday made for a good antiquing day in Dillard, and lunch at the Cupboard Café (try the Reuben). Then it was a beautiful 1½ to 2 hour drive through the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, on Sunday. We treasured our walk on the Little River Trail, at Elkmont Campground. CradleCrest made for a relaxing home base for this long weekend. Yes, the views are great.

What a pleasure to have a well-equipped kitchen, and washer & dryer! (We have children.) We visited the Great Smoky Railway (kids loved it)! We drove the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway - Beautiful, and Ruby Falls, in Tennessee. The area is beautiful and so close to other locations. Like everyone else, we hate to leave. We plan on coming back.

Even though it rained most of our stay, we were able to catch up on some much needed rest. Thanks for making our mini-vacation pleasant. P.S. It was such a pleasure to awake, have coffee, make a fire, and watch the sun rise in the eastern skies. And then, at the end of the day, sit on the porch and watch the amazing sunsets.
