My wife and I stayed for a week and love the place/location. Perfect for two and close to everything. Even a comfortable bed. We went to the Open air market every day for fresh vegetables and home made breads, pies, etc. Then drove to J.A. Moison specialty grocery store for neat food items. Walking distance to all sorts of restaurants, shopping(Petite Champlain). 22 steps to our room, not bad. Parking very convenient. 1 1/2 blocks from the river and boat cruises too.Nice little kitchen and we had all our meals here except one. If you enjoy walking, probably don't need a car. Short walk to the Funicular(tram) to Upper Town with all the associated restaurants, stores,Chateau Frontenac,Citadel, carriage rides, etc. We will be back next year for sure. The weather was great and they had the Cyclist Tour De Quebec while we were here. Nice to watch. And local folks very friendly!! LOVED our stay here.Agent(Michelle) very nice and all descriptions/photos of the condo accurate. If you need a fast sandwich, Subway is one block away along with a Petro Canada mini mart. Many biking areas around here and along the water.

My husband, myself and an adult daughter stayed here for 2 nights last July 20. Michelle accomodated our request for an early check in at short notice. She immediately advised us that the sofa bed is not as comfortable on its own and thus provided us with a memory foam bed to put on top. This helped somehow in making the bed a bit more comfortable. The place is very neat, very cozy and well decorated. There is a kitchenette for you to cook food if you want to. We never used it. The condo is centrally located within the old Quebec and the old port. Everything is walkable and small cafes and restaurants are nearby. The place is quiet and we had a great stay. Good value.
Recommended for:Sightseeing.
Highly Recommend this one!

We spent 5 days in Quebec City, and felt at home in this studio apt. The room was exceptionally clean and lovely. We felt secure here and appreciated being so close to everything. Parking was right around the corner, although we didn't need the car except for a trip to Isle d'Orleans. The market is withing walking distance, so that you can cook in for a change. I would definitely stay here again, but probably on the second floor instead of the top floor. Michelle, the contact person, was gracious and very helpful.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 days in late June 2011. The condo is located in a quiet location but near all the lovely boutiques, restaurants and tourist attractions. Our host, Madame Tanguay met us on time and oriented us to the condo and parking just down the street. It was wonderful to have in and out privileges when we needed our vehicle to explore outside the walls of old Quebec. Highly recommend a visit to the farmer's market near the waterfront! We purchased our fresh baguette, pasties, cheeses and liquers and pure blueberry juice there. Highly recommend the pear and apple liquers as well as the booth selling "creme de Cassis" (blackcurrent liquer) which works perfectly with perrier or club soda as a refreshing drink at the end of the day. Sofa bed was not comfortable for sleeping on, so this unit is best suited for 2 that will use the Queen sized bed which was relatively comfortable. It's a cozy condo with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay in old Quebec!

We knew the moment Michelle opened the door that we had come home to Old Quebec City! Beautifully decorated, bright, airy, cozy, immaculate. Located in a historic area, yet this apartment had every modern convenience. Perfect location, surrounded by beautiful shops and restaurants, and a very short walk to the waterfront. Visited beautiful Chateau Frontenac during the day, but came home to our very own apartment each night, at a fraction of the cost! We especially loved going to the local Farmer's Market and bringing back wine, cheese, bread and fruit to enjoy in our apartment's lovely dining area. This was the prettiest city we've ever visited. We will definitely visit again!!!

Ideal spot, within walking distance to everything you want to visit in old Quebec. Just like the photos, very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed, and well-equipped kitchen. A small hint: As parking is down the street, by the water, when you arrive, simply park right outside the door of the condo, put a few quarters in the parking meter, bring your luggage upstairs, then park your vehicle down the street and forget it for your stay as you won't need it.

We stayed in a slightly smaller studio in this same building (room for 2, no convertible bed) on the third floor. The studio was lovely and the kitchen was well equipped with essentials so we were able to save money by eating in most days. The grocery store was about a 20 minute walk, right across the street from the site of this summer's free Circque du Soliel show. The location is right in the heart of the historical area, and across the street from the Musee de la Civilisations where we caught two free musical performances in the courtyard on the weekend. The Ecolobus is a free electric bus that runs throughout the area and up to the edge of the Plains of Abraham. M. Tanguay was gracious and accommodating.

This place exceeded our expectations - it was everything you could ask for in a vacation rental. The main room was large and well laid out, with plenty of wardrobe space, a comfortable bed, a sitting area for watching TV, a table and chairs for dining in and a great little kitchen equipped with the essentials. Plus, on the landing outside the apartment was a washer and dryer so we could clean all of our holiday clothes very easily. It was also in a fabulous location in Old Quebec, close to lots of restaurants, shops and amenities. We loved it and Mme Tanguay was an extremely gracious host / contact. This is a real hidden gem!

I stayed at Le Perchoir for 7 nights with my mother and we were impressed by the value (FREE parking pass is included in price, and necessary if you have a car!). Beautiful, spacious, clean apartment in the Old Port neighborhood. My 64-year-old mom & I found the location very convenient for exploring the extensive old neighborhoods of the city on foot. The Museum of Civilization is right across the street, numerous restaurants and shops are just steps away. The washer & dryer were handy to have, as well as the hairdryer provided, allowing more room in our suitcases. Michelle was so friendly and accommodating. She added a very personal touch to our visit.
